Dazed Dreaming
I'd rather be hard to love.
Than easy to leave.

Just because I bear the pain,

it doesn’t mean it’s bearable.

Wilt

Sometimes, I like to think
that the reason I wilt
is because I am a flower.
Flowers are beautiful things,
are they not?
It's why we pick them
and its why they die.
Beautiful things always
die in the end.
Its the way things go.
The sun rises
and it falls.
Nature takes its course.
Suppose I was beautiful once...
But suppose someone came along
and plucked me from the ground.
Its why I wilt.
Because he did just that.
What a beautiful wallflower
   She was
But she kept losing her soft petals
  One by one
And I kept picking them up
  Hoping we would survive
That awful drain
  Avoiding our tragic demise
And I kept watering her
  And watering her
Maybe too much
  Until I drowned her

And my feelings

The end.

Maybe the darkness isn't something to be so afraid of.
Instead, it is the hand of the Lord,
shielding us from the unbearable struggle.
Maybe the weight on our shoulders isn't one from our burdens,
but the weight of His arms around us,
as a sign of comfort to know we are not alone.
Hence when we see the light at the end of the tunnel,
the weight is lifted off.
For He is setting us free,
to fly off and live our lives once more.

I praise with a heart that is praising
The one God for me and those wandering
Looking for hope and for eternity
With our Savior in heaven
Who is waiting to great us
With love and happiness
I praise, I praise you Jesus
I worship your awesome name
I glorify you with songs to worship
The majesty of your name
I worship the God of nations
Who calls me by name
When I bow in reverence
At His precious throne
I pray, I pray to Jesus
To help me and have mercy
To heal this hurting world
Only Jesus can help us
By showing the way to
A better place in this world
I praise the power and glory
I see in the beauty of Jesus

Am I really a writer or just form some words
Do you really understand me or do I just write for the birds?
Thoughts flow through my brain all jumbled and confused
I can’t help but unscrambled them and make sense of these floating words
Bubbles form above my head
Telling stories of reality that no one else said
Sometimes I feel like I’m not good enough to be on here
Sharing my stories of love, sadness and fears
So many words form into writings of my surroundings
I love sharing all of my feelings....
          Again,
Am I really a writer or
Just Wasting My
        Time....

10:06pm and they're coming at me again
a chorus demanding a chanson,
holding my brain for ransom,
the twenty six against the world's every languages' dictionary,
cacophony of a single voice demanding
provide pleasure of the interior mind's designery
obey obey the elemental electric eleventh finery
commandment
and
write anything that honors the poet's day
write something about remanding
*the world back to where we all belong
bex challenging me one mo' time

World Poetry Day is a time to appreciate and support poets and poetry around the world. It is held on March 21 each year and is an initiative of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Strange place, strange ways, each stay away!
Then why are there two roads to take?

The maps and paths, and followed tracks.
And Google, Waze, we trust their facts.
Turn left, turn right we let it steer.
To miss a turn, we start to fear.

Across to tolls, collect control.
Like little soldiers, do as told.
Planned flights and crowds, comfort in traps.
Are we confined in our skin wraps?

Some lost, pretend to just be found.
Some found, act lost, pretty profound.
To take that step, the unprotected.
To turn towards, the unexpected.
A wasteful plan, we must forget it.
Insane repeat, and do we test it?

Misdirection, to find us love.
Misdirection, to find us trends.
Misdirection, finds ideas.
Misdirection, to find us friends.
Misdirection to free in stress.
Misdirection leaves no regrets.

Let one misdirection find you.
Let one misdirection guide you.
Let one misdirection define
And be the reason, you are you.
