i can see the secrets in your eyes
as you probe for mine
what you claim to despise
you say will come out in good time

why do you get to hold back
is there something wrong with me
that justifies your lack
just tell me who you want me to be

because ultimately
if you were to share
the doubt of your intentions
will no longer be there

take me back
to when life was oh so simple
when all we did was laugh over the little things
not because of how messed up things are

can't anyone hear our cries for help?
or are they also dead deep down
ha ha, funny how maybe everyone feels like ****
when all we need is a hand to grip
Oh, and darling
If you asked
for water
I'd bring you the ocean
Tell me
i'm worth the pain
Tell me the pain is alright as long as you get to see the beauty from me
Tell me the beauty of me makes you work harder for me
Tell me that working hard for me is what makes you stronger
Tell me the stronger you get the better you are
Tell me how you want to be better for me
Tell me all these lies
and don't forget to tell me how you will love me till the end of time

I want your last breath
before the unknown of sleep brings your world to a halt
before the nothing of your world is consuming
unapproachable
unimaginable by anyone but you

I want your body
before you give it away to the sandman
before you becoming heavy with relief from a long day

I want your touch just one last time
burning embers against my skin

take me away with you
give me your love
give me your heart
give me all of you
And  when  his  usefulness  had  gone.
They  just  cast  him  aside.
And  on  the  final  downhill.
He  began  to  slide.

Rejected  after  all  his  work.
Visions  now  all  gone.
He  knew  full  well  his  time  was  near.
He  knew  he  had  not  long.

As  an  old  man  disillusioned.
And  weary  from  his  fight.
He  spent  in  sad  remembrance.
His  final  lonely  night.
