More coffee.

If only my scars were on the surface of my body. Then maybe you’d understand the burden of pain I have held.

Don't expect someone to love you,
if you don't love yourself..

We went on a date,
except you didn’t know it was a date,
so you missed me staring at the back of your head,
as you ran through the fountain.

We went on a date,
but you didn’t know,
so you missed the feeling of desperately wanting to kiss
you on the lips as we dried in the sun.

We went on a date,
you didn’t know,
so you missed out on all the funny feelings that I
wouldn’t give away for anything.

We went on a date,
and now I'm too attached,
so you'll never know it was a date
because I don't want to lose you.
I went on a 'date' recently... but I didn't tell her it was a date. So now we're friends.

You kissed me
with someone else’s name
in your breath
holding me with hands
that were made of promises
you never intended to keep
thank you
for pretending to love me
while his soul
was still carved in your body

in the silence
between  your heartbeats
I can feel a dream
which  I can’t quite remember
it is like a story
I always wanted to write about
but never I was able
to cross the unforgiving sea
Feel free to comment your opinions.
Back to the
subtle pool
of dark and deep
that lay below illumination.

Wriggling, slippery
scales of black
in a pool
so hard to see,
so hard to grasp.

Down the hall
in the realm of control,
pulling into light a dark shadow.

Maybe two, but one.

Pull it close
to touch it in mind,
to know it and own it
and let it go.

So deep and dark
and subtle and fooling,
this pool of mind.
I’m not sure there is a heaven, but I’m sure there is hell.
You don’t have to die to be there.
You can live there, you just finish another bottle.
You want to stop. You beg to stop.
You lock your apartment door until you sweat and shake.
Hell always takes you back.
Makes your chest hurt.
Makes you wish you would just die. But you can’t.
You’re too young and have a life to ruin.
So Hell waits.

Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.
