"vacillations" poems
I - stricken biped Reside Arranged on patina of dust Compacted from its own breadth and comingled humid vacillations Misplaced intent resides carking upon my ribcage Cerebral reliquary reprises Enunciating: distaste – mediocrity – insufficiency Clandestine exhalation configuration obliges principal Luminous descants evade ebullition bound in stained crystal Eupnea elapsed - foreboding Enigma binds frame to pith

Questioning Relationship
*Vacillations weaving stance is perilous to all who broach For he who says he will, and wont, betrays a trust and builds reproach; Destroys regard and turns the thought to doubt’s restraining hesitance, In future dealings, hence creates, suspicions pall in residence. Wherein truth and forthright eye mark the man of rigid stance He who will not meet your gaze is one who steps a Gypsy dance And he who utters hollow words of promissory, turned to dust, Is one, who one might best avoid…. and on no account at all, entrust. For some are hard and some men soft and some have slippery palms to grip And some, intentioned well, might fade as failed performances may slip. But he who clasps a handshake firm and holds you with a steady eye, To speak the truth’s resounding tones, when proven…. built on bedrock, lie.* Marshalg May 17 2013 Sandringham

Seeking Bedrock
A ruffled heart, an unsettled soul The Almighty's kept her off the dole 'Why are you silent, mighty Lord? Assure me, the universe acts per your accord' She sauntered slowly down the street Smiling at her loved ones, keeping life's misgivings discreet She could feel the pain gently seeping in, A scathing body, and a dubiety-clenched heart within Of lost love and dead men they talk Her agony of vacillations is why then put in a dock? ‘Smile, my dear heart’, she cried There ain’t no world for the dreary-eyed As the achy moments turned into uncurious days Like mayflowers, new truths radiated In her anxious ears, He gently whispered ‘Told you so, my dearest; T’you I shall always give the best’ Her heart triumphed, as His misty aura slowly unblocked And slowly she rejoiced with every new truth unlocked On fresh green lawns, she now runs Ahoy! See there - a fortress of faith and new spring suns

Fortress of Faith
Waiting, Words, nothing, ****** mouth, ****** brain, Inadequate heart, we are in battle again. The girl who seeks solace in words but cannot speak them. My words mean nothing. It all means nothing. I sometimes think, when my inaudible voice fails me You must know How intensely I have replied; does it not show in my eyes? All the while my face is like a stone. It is all a show. You could not really know, how my mind, it tears and rips itself apart screaming shouting wailing crying Its helpless vacillations Of emotion Its indecisiveness It is a curse, To feel so deeply, to hurt and hate and cry and love so much And to never be able to convey anything.

The fog's captives were held motionless and entranced— frozen in a bearingless nothing. There had existed within them only a moment of anticipation as the grey encased them— vacillations between the loss of one world and acceptance of another. As its vaporous cold snaked through their clothes and into their bones, it whispered a silent boast of how quickly they could be made to forget all they thought they knew to be certain.
