Praise it—’tis dead—
It cannot glow—
Warm this inclement Ear
With the encomium it earned
Since it was gathered here—
Invest this alabaster Zest
In the Delights of Dust—
Remitted—since it flitted it
In recusance august.

I got bars; they rattle inside my empty brain
I got pain; it’s shaped like the things that make it fade
I got hate; lain by the hands of the guy hiding inside my face
I got erased; from every place I safely encased betwixt my rib’s cage
I got rage; fighting against the machine operating the man
I got plans; to say “I got plans” but they’re empty promises
I got remitted; from whatever it was that god had written
I got smitten; with a boy who makes my vices start itchin’

I got to scratching and I don’t like what I’m sniffin’

Blood tests are something I could do without
But they are alas a necessary evil
And though it’s really not a thing to shout about
They haven’t so far (in my case) proved lethal.

However it was with a deal of trepidation
That I presented myself at phlebotomy today.
The result did not match up to my anticipation;
The perfect vein was quickly pierced I’m glad to say.

It did, at least, give some sense of direction
To medical support for my ongoing treatment
Avoiding, to my great relief, any infection
Or disconcerting prospect of impeachment.

While the symptoms are improved by the procedure,
The condition, sad to say, is not remitted,
And the problem, even sadder, gets no easier,
While the health practitioners remain committed

To additional probing examination,
And are calling me for further tests next week,
Despite the blood flow’s vast immoderation
That required a lot of plugging of the leak.

When they put me into my final casket
And thus dispose my bones and body once for all
I can imagine someone there will ask it:
“We wonder why his body seems so awfully pale.”

Last tendered lifeline sought as battered psyche under your bellowing wave rips
Final act of penance remitted from bleeding, parched lips
Hemorrhaging from bandaged sorrows that only strerile soul doth eclipse
A hollow stare from deserted strand harboring the wreckage of two, desolate ships
Posture now callous bearing the scars of your shallow, superficial preening grips
Disheveled hair, limp dividend declaring inferior complex that from each emotive strand drips
Pale, drawn face; vessel sunken from draining sinkholes as our relationship dips
Pensive smile revealing the fault line of each strained shock as chasm deeper slips
Shuttering ears filtering out the rehearsed, rhapsodic notes of your telepathic scripts
Token, parting gesture from arrhythmic heart erasing each beat as your radar blips

Bequest of love
She's ageless yet stuck in blossoms
A Life force  matured concrete mantled perks
17 and remitted into my dreams
cast a thousandyard stare for hours

I'd love you
until our atoms are ripped to shreds in a single glance
We'd kiss from ebony meeting brown
The shadows would smile wild
And I wouldn't care

Love me sparsely
Die with me elderly please,
We teach nurturing peace
From days without end
Encompass that first day I'd caught the eye jeering slap
Punch drunk love
I collapse everytime we meet
I can't escape
I'm to old to lust the relapse
Confusion I can't break free of. This coming of age women is always on my mind since the day we met.

Another flashback remitted.
How many more episodes will I endure until I allow myself to reminisce upon **what once was?
Well, it is what it is.

The tabs are listening still
manila bent fat folders
past due bills and debt remitted
collected stuffed and sorted
in the freeze of a moment
when I wasn't a friend
when I defiled a trust
when I spent the last
thin dime of integrity
on a dust filed upstairs
with the titles  brittle
invoices and expired
warrantees.

The phone may ring
to renew the service
between me and you
and I'll drop the handle
into the cradle
of a familiar voice
without a word
without a thought
our crisp linen days
pushed away
while a rusting washer
screams another load
and a cabinet drawer
inches out a little bit more

How sweet is the affliction of humanity
to speak of it's ills renders me unsocial
to think of it's crimes too horrendous
How sweet it is to turn an eye away

And farewell, sweet world, my dearest
fiend.  That we remain calm and serene
while all things great and small burn
makes us one of a kind.

That I have secluded my sanity from all
******* of my fellow creatures
and have remitted self to tangled
words and convoluted thoughts ...
makes all of my internal organs
breath easier.

How sweet is our affliction.

Humanity!

Madness.  Complete and utter madness.

i stepped out woven  buttoned  and bully capped
out here i'm been wuthered at   frayed like unreliable memory
remitted the wrongdoing of being inhuman human and cussed
mattered at with an action  of feral direlessness
an hour spent  in autumnal nature
roughhoused and chilled  in a familial way
welcomes a vibe of maddened liaison
I find it funny that this moment i'm thinking about love
How its been a minute since i've known love
How i would give a minute of my time
To feel a moment of love
How i will give my whole lifetime to be love
It is amusing to reminisce that i gave a minute of remiss to love when love was around
Now in this present reminiscence of the past,
I'm hoping for a future remitted with love
