May as well have arrived on ships
With absinthe and fireworks
because I can't remember the last Time
Christmas came early.

December descends

Precious gems
started January 14th, 2021

Sometimes I think of
poems and people
misplaced lost missing gone

they live on
as gems in
my heart

tumbled smooth
by the turbulence
of my frantic love

each a precious
polished stone
ruby labradorite jade peridot

nightly before I sleep
I kiss them each one
so they will have sweet dreams.

The hidden rite

The labradorite scaled skin glistens
Full of cyan as well as cyanide
Fantastic fish it finds the stream
In the crease of the cliff to hide.
On one hand it meets the core
Of nature. It is telluric till the end
The labradorite kisses the lore
On the other hand, a legend.
The slippery fish follows, swerving
The selfish body of water
Displaced, it becomes sensual
Yet it’s just a fish as usual.

Labradorite and northern lights
give motion to
sights unseen and sounds
heard in dreams

It seems I've been here
before, on these worn wooden floors

Neon lights beckoning me
through the next
                                 open door

I've been here before

My eyes have been sore,
looking for the prize in the lies

-Grab a rail drink
               for the times

I've failed too many times
to think that the rabbit
beats the snail

in the race of life

It's love, lust and strife from where
                  I'm sitting

and listening to my tongue
                         on the knife

and please don't be disillusioned
                           if I cut you

It only means that I love you

I cannot help but wonder tonight if the archangels have abandoned me.
The universe has a plan for me but executes it unsympathetically.
My nocturnal nonchalance convinces me that I have nothing to lose,
and no one watching over me-

But there is always the moon;
There’s the moon.

I wonder if I will be happy, soon.
If all the lunar rays
I harvest through my labradorite will serve me well.
Whether I’ll hit the ground running or just simply
hit it like a meteorite.
Will I reach for the stars or throw myself
in front of the metro.

I seek solace in the sun and safety in the stars
but the sun no longer shines and the
stars no longer give a **** about my safety.
I have been plunged into darkness and led
astray.

Wandering aimlessly,

using the world as my own ashtray
because what other use does it have for me now that I am drowning,
with my head in the clouds?

Churchill called it the black dog,
I fear I will die within this brain fog.

I might let my dreams out tonight,
And scream things I shouldn't, in my sleep.

I am tired of being half myself,
Tired of limits and shouldn't and don't.
Tonight, I will let loose my inhibitions,
They have been straining in these chains for far too long.

The colours that surround me in my sleep will spill forth,
Staining me naked, with a wanton rainbow palette.
Moon-beams will enter and dance with my dreams,
Labradorite glories, come to life.

Oh, I will be me, tonight if never else,
I will be fantastical,
Surrounded by night-bringings, fevers and longings,
What will they look like, and where will they take me?
Night psyche dreamings, I'll join you in the dance.

Barefoot silhouettes
in the sand dancing;
to the burning flames
they're not attaching.

To the lulling waves escaping;
its vibes, inhaling.
Salty splashes
our wounds purifying
into beautiful scars modifying.

1 step, closer
breathe that fire, down my neck
be you, be the western Dragon
sprout your claws.
DIG them harder;
blood, sweat, coconut oil, magical spells
this skin is FORTIFIED, don't hold back.

2 steps higher, breathe that fire
the damp nights ignite
your wings spread & stretch.
Under the showering crystal stars
My eyes and your Labradorite -
blue eyes we'll close.

On serenity's fumes
together we'll get high
transcending into orange, ruby hues.
your forbidden Obsidian thoughts LIBERATE!
the knight's sword we'll evade

dancing we go back.

Dirt, scraping orbs of reason won’t obey
