I wish i could reverse
The cure i accidentally
Placed on you
This tests my waters every time i think about it
I just want you to be remain unscathed
While you continue your life without anymore pain
I'm always relentless on being cognizant with people's feelings
But when i mess up, i guess it's jackpots for Satan.
I'm so sorry
I feel worse than any Saturday morning cartoon villain can ever aspire to be.
This goes to two special people in my life that i hurt in different times of my life. I'm so sorry, it affects me more than you could possibly know.

Numbers spin like lottery ***** round and round inside
Always on a quest to see what secrets we can find
But this door won’t melt with torches or be broken by a drill
Because it taps into our mind and uses our free will

No bills wait in stacks behind its inner wall of steel
Just honesty about our lives and the emotions we all feel
Times we always remember and some we wish to forget
Those jackpots or busts everyone is guaranteed to hit

No clanging sounds or flashing lights to signal victory
Just thoughts of where we are and where we wish to be
Sometimes things don’t go our way and we throw in a losing hand
But , it’s not where the journey starts, its where you finally land

And even if your location stays the same
Pieces around you will change like a much-loved board game
New memories and friends come while old ones leave
Each taking a thread in the new life you weave

Experiences fresh and familiar shape what you become
And it doesn’t really matter from where the good times come
Hit or stay, spin that wheel,  and let chance do the rest
Walk away with chips in hand and know you’ve done your best!

Let me tell you
about this crazy dream I had

I looked over at you and smiled again
You put your head on my shoulder
We've been watching the cars pass
Through the streets of the city
Like stars falling from our galaxy

Ever have those moments when
time
slows
down?
Everything gets quiet
And my eyes felt like they opened
for the first time
And i felt music and art and poetry
for the first time
And my ears could only hear our
heart beats in sync
And your breathing

This was one of those moments
Like the first time I met you

We played connect the dots with the stars
And drew each other pictures of the future
I felt your grip get tighter around my hand
And I couldnt help but belt out a laugh

Can you believe it?
Of all the particles of matter
And molecules of life
Of landscapes
And creatures
And people
And planets
And timing
And chances
We slammed into each other
Like we've always been en route
For this crash.

And like two fireworks
We took the sky and stole the moment
In a wild display it took my whole life to perfect
I would do what I could to see you shine
the brightest
I went through years of fuses and duds and restarts,
sparks and false starts just for this moment when
You ignite me to the potential I never knew was there

See, your best brings out my best,
And the more I can do for you will enrich me.

Your warmth is something I didn't know was possible
Until it was.

You are proof that lotteries
aren't only won in monetary jackpots
And hearts aren't only made for
Beating in a singular rhythm
But in a drum line to a symphony.

We danced in our own company
And your lips dropped breadcrumbs
across my body
So you'd find your way back up to my kiss.
I've never felt lips burn so deep like yours do
You left gulches on my neck with your breath
And dug out safe places
where you will always be welcomed.

Let me tell you
I wake up to sleep now.
I Love You, goodnight.

You say a million dollars
Like the lottery
Baby you are worth more
than the highest of jackpots
your arms are warm and they welcome me in
and I breathe in the priceless scent of your skin
and I say my day wasn't worth my time
because your lips couldn't seem to find mine.

But the eighty six thousand four hundred moments
are worthless seconds
not worth a day without you
so yes,
when I heard you were coming
I lit up like the sky
on the fourth of July

like my independence
has finally rung
and your hand running down my rib cage
was the signing of a declaration

and your voice was a song
rejoicing the holiday kneading words of freedom into my spine
with your fingertips
feeding me love with each sway of our hips
and I'll never let go of the feeling of your lips
on the top of my head
as you wish me off to bed

good night and sweet dreams
and I'll write again
soon
but I wish
You could stay

and we could just watch the moon

for hours and days
and watch all of the phases
and bask in the wonder
of the shadowy surface
and the lack of utter
emptiness

because your company fills me
completely
and everything
makes sense
when youre with me

like a crossword done in pen
correctly
nothing can erase
the nothings
whispered to me

the things you've made me see
the changes you've caused in me.

I used to never believe in change
but now I'm seeing things
turn strange

I'm suddenly making new wishes
At eleven past eleven
and my happiness is the one I’m working towards
because my happiness is yours

and your smile sends an arrow through my heart
Cupid did his best to aim,
while no robin hood could understand
how much an arrow through the chest
can feel like a mess

but my heart’s is your hands
youll protect it,
I know.

No, robin hood could never understand
No undead, or no ghost
Could ever feel a love
So much that it hurts

And no sweater keeps me warm
Like the ones that you’ve worn
Like the palm of your hand
On a cold rainy night

Like the pulse through your veins through my lips on your neck

It all comes down to the hope you bring

To the way you make me see
Everything will be okay.

I know you hate those words
But they fly around us all like birds
above our heads flying south,
Longing for the long days and sunrays
And leaving behind our lonely minds

And that’s when we forget
Everything will be okay.

I love to tell you that
I love the way my mouth
doesn’t catch my ******* complicated trap
When I try to get my words out.

With you, its easy
It flows right through your malleus incus and stapes
To your nerve
In your system
But my words don’t make me nervous,
They make you home.

They make you the smell of brownies after a long day of tears
A smile greeting you when you walk down carpeted stairs
And the heat of an embrace that extracts all your fears
And the one who reminds you
Everything will be okay.

Why on earth hunger exist?
Had He kicked out the free foods on the free list?
Ah, yes, 'coz at this era
No thing don't have a price tag
One need to give the money
Before he can avail,
and put the thing on his backpack
Why on earth hunger exist?
Street children begging for money to eat
Burglars breaking windows for "jackpots"
Dying people everywhere because of hunger
Why on earth hunger exist?
What's the reason why it exist?
How did it exist?
Where do it exist?
When did it start and,
will it come to an end?
Why on earth hunger exist?
Ah, yes, them, them

and the long season of pure luck faded
they didn't foresee the jackpots end by date
the fortune was so ominously shaded
bravo's time period did quickly abate
how a quirky wheel of providence can change
rarely does it track in the one pathway
card turns are so bewilderingly strange
when placing wagers there'll be a loss day
expecting the winning streak to endure
tis of they who know nothing of betting
there's always a chance in being insecure
sure things do morph to an adverse setting
gambling pundits are the odd taker's guide
they've a good ken which assess flow of tide

Lets start over.
Blasting into the air.
Singeing the sky, together
as we are blown away.
Lets start over.
Driving fast,
living in a house melting
from a cliff edge.
Lets start over,
Memories shattered,
what does it matter as
we start over again.
Everything you know
about me, everything
you wondered, bursts
apart
sky high, winding
its way in figure eights,
in jackpots and bare escapes.
Cheering crowds, love
comes back
as history
unravels in the morning,
Lets start over.
You don’t say why,
while
constellations change
names, bright
in the
water black air,
Lets start over.
It isn’t love.
It is everything
you know about me
cracked open,
behind the jet stream,
behind the sun,
behind infinite time,
until the truth, the untruth,
the levers that upset
the universe are
like just another
sun that
breaks the dawn.
Lets start over
in endless cartwheels
provoking hurricanes,
ending civilization
until all
comes together
in the moment that
the sun was ignited.
I am not you,
you are not me,
it doesn’t seem to
matter once
you and I and
everything that we
were, start over.
