A name. A name as it just is, but one t'at is so dear
to my heart-th' glint of my dreams,
th' tempest of my soul. Th' wave of my life,
th' tide of my *****-and how bound to my heart-as t'ey art!
Th' glide of my tempest, th' water of my drought-in t'at
simpering stain of th' past-thou wert but my sole emblem
of imagination. Thou wert th' only thunder to my heart-
and my benign indulgence-thy words wert to me my kingdom,
my most earnestly desired kingdom! Thou wert but to me so near-in t'at
affronted fright of my being, thou wert my enigmatic master
and ardour. How thou comforted me!
And how thy charm was but so near!
My prince, my love!
I was but in a striving trance-but as soon as thou reached my handth-
and pressed me so tenderly to thy chest-o!
How I was entangled in a haven of imminent soliloquy.
And my eyes-my very eyes, watched t'ose shadows of bubbles-
and t'at splash of foreign doubts, drift, drift away-like a busy wind,
trying to escape its shrieking rims: how t'ose fears and drears
astoundeth me no more!
And thee,
How replenishing, andth becoming thou art to me!
Vanquished areth now t'ose thoughts unsure-in thee I witnesseth nothing
but pleasure! Thee-thou art, and just thou art, is my warmth and
fiery treasure-just thee, my love. Thou art th' blood t'at feeds my veins!
How thy first words art but fresh in my memory-thou blesth my morning,
and its sublime meekness, but its kisses art as fervent as thine not-and would I
still be gripped by its dangling, mystical fear.
And t'ose rainbows of falsehood, how t'ey snickered-hark to t'eir deceit,
and flakes of malice-hark now! I was so entranced by t'eir speeches, and
blinding emotions, so captivating in t'ose years of insincere heat, but no more!
No more shalt I give my life to 'em-to endue 'em with my glows of aspiration
as heretofore. I would be clever t'is time-and fleet as I like th' pouring rain-
beware ought 'ey to become, of my festive storm!
But thou-as majestic as th' morn's melodious dew-caught my love in a burst
of eloquent second, and lock it in thy memories, heart, and salubrious
weather. How thou gleamed my life-my very life!
T'is life t'at was isolated by flushes of unripe redness-
unlike t'ose taints of glamorous roses-fake, indolent shapes as t'ey are,
scattered along t'ose innocent bushes, and am but afraid t'ey shalt
survive not-and wither shalt t'eir robust leaves, from t'at ample
sadness bestowed guiltlessly on 'em. How t'eir glistening surfaces
shalt be left no more!
Thou art my only jewelry-and th' atonement of my surly sins-
knight to my armour-my warm, neglected armour, how soft and epic
thou art! And thou wilt be by my side-as fatefully'th it been decided,
and how miraculous it wouldth be to me-my very prince, my own,
my own thee! And shall beginth just t'is journey-our very, very journey,
with no more blandnessth as heretofore-in t'is gusty time of year,
as I wouldth but be here with my thee-my dear, my dear.

it drains from me like blood
like sacred hyms of love
through torments of your mercy
here do i rise above

what is all that which turns
Gods into but men
treacherous pangs of loss
with streams on cheeks again

as if a walk in park
innocent satin dreams
yet fallen to abyss
on edge of time it seems

for when you jail me in
between the heaves of storm
in jaws of clueless beauty
trapped i shall transform

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

moments all spent in eyes
in arms of soverign lap
guiltlessly i'll fall for you
to cunning venus flytrap
spysgrandson May 2013
you squeezed it from its little packet
onto your glazed doughnut
mindlessly committing culinary blasphemy
without a sound
others did not notice
until they saw the yellow remnants
on your red wax lips
they said nothing
for their rapt attention was on the boss
who chattered on about grand ideas
while you guiltlessly chewed and swallowed
I missed nothing
for your bold foray
into comestible “paradigm shifts”
was of far more interest to me
than the inflated business at hand
like sweet custard on a Frito pie
your mustard caught my eye
and had me pondering
the elusive mysteries
of  mind and mouth
while others gazed at our leader’s clean moving lips
untroubled by their enchantment
**on the significance of staff meetings in the world of grown ups
When I am old I will say what I think
And not worry to be thought a clown or a fool.

When I am old I will borrow from youth
As guiltlessly as a child robs the cookie jar.

When I am old I will throw away fashion
And dress myself solely in comfort as I please.

When I am old I will share anger I feel
Instead of letting it take bites out of my soul.

When I am old I will walk away quickly
From those who’s motives I find to be suspect.

When I am old I will sleep in my chair
And have picnics on my bed if I so choose.

When  I am old I will go to the places
That in youth I deemed not appropriate.

When I am old I will will buy stuff that sparkles
Simply because I like shiny things.

When I am old I will sing when I feel it
And not fret that my voice isn’t pretty.

When I am old I will pet everyone’s puppies
And laugh as they lick all over my face.

When I am old I will  stop tearing up like a fool
When parade marching bands with their banners go by.

When I am old I will be sprung from this prison
Referred to as rational adult behavior.

When I am old.

Yes, when I am old.

During my ambitious journey
I've never felt any place I lived in
But the past I lived in

The smells I have smelt
Crawling down the sense
I have missed to sense

The touch of the beauty
Defined by an angel rather-
Than me, the selfish thing

The laughs confused with cries
Oh! What I got myself into-
But smiles upon sad skins

Melancholy melodies swaying over-
Soft lullabies stream in slow motion
Like a waterfall down her lips

Grumpy kids walking innocently
Smiley parents rushing guiltlessly
My pale face feels nothing, endlessly

I get up on my knees slowly
That’s the highest I could get
Then sunk back to the future
The one I have always left
Senor Negativo Mar 2015
Her eyes cut like honesty.
She destroys certainty
like the contact of unknown lips-
Forbiding me
A desired amuse bouche,
and I couldn't hear her decline your megaton of yesterday's drudge.
"How do I suffer you?" "Go off, do your hedonist."

Truth is a bitter transmitter.
It always smells of curling cinders,
that I have inhaled deeply
Either unlike indifference
that I've guiltlessly-danced out of denial.

I'll know who's true to me.
With audacity you admit everything.
Your audacity, I pull generous hands forward and hear , "Yes."
Audacity that I grant access to shared thoughts.
Audacity I.

Honesty can be shrouded in midnight
or as rebellious as a pimple on your nose.
There is nothing to be gained from insults
(Or Cruelty)
Discovered before caresses and thefts.
Without who I agree, some of the terrible places
are left unused charities
Either debt. As if loneliness is not a department store.
I know where I went right
She destroyed random targets,
unmasking her borrowed glorious virtue
And after you hear the burst of her AR,
she'll feel the measure of her worth.

It's all my fault.
A locked window was your denial
So I crawled through the basement window
It wasn't an honest defense.

Let me buy you the wine list.
let her obey.

alienate me
make me a stranger
to guiltlessly hate me
when i turn away

I keep hoping you'll try to reach out
and I know I sound naive
but I can't accept the fact
that you could just abandon me.
How could someone do that,
hurt someone so deeply
leaving them broken-hearted
and walk away like it was easy?
I can't be the only one hurting
you can't just move on with your life
leaving me behind
as if I meant nothing. (Did I?)
I can't be the only one miserable
the only one that can't sleep at night
There's no way you could be happy
There's no way. Right?
How can you walk all over me
and leave me shattered on the floor
there has to be an explanation
there has to be something more
I have to be on your mind
Thoughts of me in your head
because you can't guiltlessly
just leave me for dead. (Can you?)
How can you whisper false promises
then completely break my heart
to promptly act like I don't exist
simply press restart
This can't have been just one big lie
You have to be broken too.
You have to.
Are you?
As guilty as I am, I guiltlessly tell you that I miss you
You're never home, but hey, neither am I
Your freedom is important to you, and I want to understand that, but I can't say that I already do

Now I have this aching, this urge, this itch, this feeling, that screams at me I have to appreciate you
And now when I try to do just that, you run away from the house which we used to live in

I hurt you whenever I pursued Romance
And that was wrought with a lack of understanding from both of us

And now here we are, standing so far away from each other, yet only a couple miles removed,
and I don't know who
or where
or what
you are anymore

You remember when we would love poetry together?
Do you remember the feelings we had and the solidarity
I remember feeling like you losing your faith was the worst thing that could happen to both of us,

and then it happened to me

I remember fostering our relationship by going to a church which only you go to now
I miss when we talked about doing drugs in the abstract, never actually doing them
I miss when I could tell you about Romance, and you would listen

I miss sharing my whole self with you
I miss sharing any of myself with you

torpedo ink, some doubts to sink,
another mouthful, bruising to bethink.
without lexical integrity,
they're solecistic towards pedagogy, amusingly distinct.
basking in the blasphemy, armed to the teeth, blameless and bruised,
putting on another comical skit, guiltlessly bemused.
but don't sit next to me at this ball,
i'm pensively perusing the aisles of protocol.
baffled, more putrid than pellucid,
this hobnobbing appalls me, the exclusively reclusive.
a nuisance shindig, conversations far too allusive.
enough with the palaver, and this shallow vernacular,
far too stupid, far too human, forehead now growing vascular.
make way for me to make hastily for the exit, please,
my apologies, but i'm far too pedantic to revel in this cesspit, jeez.

Meaning eludes midnight's lament,
as constellations leave their welt
lined up in the star scattered skyline
Gravity shackles with iron grip
aligning chains to Orion's belt
now resting in a milky row confined

Galaxies are made from ripped sheets,
pieces of torn cloth, and felt
sewn together with Poseidon's trident
then dealt across an oceanside
wading the obsidian tide
pelting midnight's shoreline

He spoke expanding entropy
with a voice rasped in depraved sickness,
washing his hands guiltlessly
before lifting this jet black awning
over top the veil of existence

These feet drag on
dancing in lonesome's brigade,
music grows like Kentucky crabgrass
bursting cement to meet the rain,
breaking free through a concrete slab
growing out its swagger and mane

A siren's lure has kept me skured
on the end of a driftwood dagger,
bleeding I stand profoundly for
desire is latched to my stature like
the feathers on a bird

Hills of fire beg for rain,
why must the clouds forsake them
by roaming among plains
filled with mire and several tethered chains
strapped between two mountain ranges
like a meadowlark inside a cage

By light of the moon foreboding gloom,
shredded cotton rushes through with
lightning strikes inosculated
stretching from rows of falling rain,
blotting out the sunlight with a
monochrome shadow, and
washing out every storm drain
yet not a single flower blooms

Nothing green will ever soothe
such an arid desolate city
where not even a storm cloud will stay

I wonder how they escape
Oh, I wonder where these storm clouds
drift so swiftly swaying
while thunder hounds
on leashes yelp
howling and strictly baying

So grey and still the cyclones pose,
farther and faster away,
not guaranteed to blow this way
or find their twilight
desert rose
Storm Clouds Ride the Pressurized Air
