If I could love
the limping
ugly
afraid
part of me
That I drag through the mud
and thorns

If I could let
the transparent
clawing
screaming
silhouette speak
Instead of kicking it
into the basement

If I could put
my deepest human essence
onto paper
for everyone to see

Then.
Then, I could be free.
He is everything to me
His control is all in the powers
The power of words that,
diffuse the love
Deep thoughts carry whole branches of life

The work of sacrifice, to earn
the love of pride
To make his buds the blossom of light
Auxiliary to the hands to fulfill the dreams of life

All love and sacrifice, for family
Strong in will, strong in faith
to seek for a goal, to strive for success
How busy those hands, to save the loving hood

He is the symbol of responsiblity
to complete the code of life
Because he believe,
"A small gain is worth than
a large promise"

Yes, he is a father, the father
of every nation who has his own
secret superpower

One day I turned around
I looked away
For a second
To reach for Mother’s hand

I heard a sound
And turned back ‘round
In a flash
Life; transformed

There I saw
Where stood before
Our family tree

Mother as roots;
I as the stem
And now; fruits

In a second
My youth forgotten
And maternal thoughts
My mind did fill

How so fast
Did this day come?
Once the stem
Now the roots
So quickly
Life transformed.
A simple poem describing how quickly life changes and our roles can go from that of a child (the fruit) to that of a parent (the roots).

Cné

Hanging like a scimitar
suspended in the sky,
the moon beside a gleaming star
is pleasing to the eye.
How desolate, this satellite
in airless ebon space
and yet, from here
‘tis beautiful
filagree & lace.

The red apple
reflects
the randomness
of this
wild world.

In hunger
the white
and seeded core
becomes
a fruity corpses
where when
disposed
will posses
the rot of worms
and wriggling maggots.

Then to the grave
this delicious treat goes
to seed the earth
with nutrients
that other things
need to grow.

It was almost like love,
Almost like your hand fits in my hand perfectly can I call you mine?
No.
It was almost like you’re the one I can phone at 3 a.m,
When the thoughts are bad and the darkness is thick
And I am drowning.
It was almost like drowning
Because your eyes
Are blue like waves that won’t stop breaking over my
Head, they leave my lungs unable to fill with anything that is not
Salt water which is what your skin tastes like.
It was almost like midnight making love and memories
Under stars that were too far away and you;
You are too far away. Too far gone. Too far
Too far from me.
It was almost like love
Almost like unearthly bond
Almost like you are one reality and I am another
But we do not mix so it is always only
Almost
And that’s what hurts the most.
The pain of almost.
Some nights, I told you lies that would make Satan proud.
Other nights, I was more honest than a wood nymph captured.
But whether I was lying to you, or telling you my darkest secrets, those confessions were indulgent for the best of reasons.
You wouldn’t remember a thing in the morning.

There is a prayer in the wind
that you cannot see
if we close our eyes
would you read it to me ?
