Still waters of vast and calming blue.
Endless waves churning to a certain
Rhythm that you feel in your deepest self.
Enthralling siren songs, easing your heartache.
Neutral counselor of lost souls.
Incarnation of peace and safety,
The ocean will hold you like a mother.
Yesterday is past, tomorrrow is soon, but now is serenity.

Dru
She was in troubled waters
She could not keep her head up
She fought
She was in despair
She asked if I could be her bridge
She cried, she begged
Yes, I said
I will be her bridge over the troubled waters
I will save her
Save her from the abusive relationship
Save her from emotional turmoil
But I always knew she'll walk off
Once she feels safe
No one stays on the bridge
I still did it.
I chose to be her bridge
I let her use me.

Traveler
Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

Hay
No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

Vanity
All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again

The face in the mirror
the look in the eye's
that reflection ain't me it's just a disguise
the fading of hair
the wrinkles that bend
it's just a life story that's told on my skin
this man in the mirror he ain't really me
their's a child inside that want's to be free
that woman of mine you could say she's the same
sometimes in the covers we laugh and play games
but as I get old and my life bears thin
I think of the fun
and think of the friends
so you could say i'm kind of bold
it's just a part of getting old
A poem my dad wrote on his 45th birthday
we all thought it was funny but truth is
I think it was the greatest one he ever wrote

One, open your heart to ...
Two, remember that I love ...
Three, fight to be ...
Four, find out what you here ...
Five, live while you're ...
Six, there's always something to ...
Seven, no hell no ...
Eight, do don't ...
Nine, this world is neither yours nor ...
Ten, still can't make up my mind about the egg or the hen.
