Well that's the thing
'bout poetry.

You paint emotions
thru letters.
Each happiness
you write in BOLD.
You laugh your smiles
in lines;
in stanzas,
all shades of gray
you let the world see.

And in every piece,
you embrace a soul
with a touch
of bittersweet
ellipsis

I can’t hide
These feelings I have
Sweetheart for you
Some would say it's true love
But I no its much more
Because I've fallen in love with you,
You bring me peace and happiness so much joy
Where loneliness used to be
Your like a ray of sunshine
Shining bright over me
Happiness in life
Holding you in my arms
Fallen for my charm's
And I promise you
I’ll love you forever
With every beat of my heart..

What is a boat good for
where there's no water?
A coma tied to dockside
missing it's blue waves.

What is poet's purpose
when he's a lousy knotter?
A lack of words on paper,
his mind is short of tales.

He's fishing for ideas
on a ship that won't sail,
oblivious to his surroundings,
he's only bound to fail.
Let the boat be the poet's attention.
