I kept you in my heart too long
knowing you were the perfect leech
parasites are meant to take over
especially, when you're already weak
You were the perfect distraction
but, you only gave me empty thrills
I needed you to be there for me
but turns out ghosts aren't real
I should have saw this coming
through your false sincerity
thought you had given me love
when all you gave me is pity
if my words are not verse,
then it is your name I shan't curse
He doesn't see
Her as an angel
The one she used to be
He see's her true colors
A false rainbow she tries to be

has set
me free.

It is
something
nobody
can ever
take away
from me.

If you are the sun, I am the ocean's waves,
we are two different poems refusing to collide,
alas, no amount of longing will strip the sun
from the skies just to make her mine.

You are gentle while I am storming,
but there's an order to my chaos,
a system to the way my waves crash,
if you would just memorize me,
you could understand my seas.

I know we're caught in separate worlds,
but I've seen the way the sun embraces
the edge of the sea before it goes to sleep,
maybe it's not time for the sun to set,
yet I'm still dreaming to be your horizon.

Lorraine day
Angels come in many forms
There when times are tough
There when we feel sorrow
When we feel we've had enough
They may not present with feathered wings
Nor have the power to fly
But don't despair
They are still there
They'll never pass you by
They may reach you
Through a stranger
Who suddenly appears
Or through a friend
Who unexpectedly calls
You've not seen for years
They may appear in your garden
As a robin day to day
When you need them
They are with you
They are never far away

These hands hang down
and my heart droops within;
these feet are tired - my back sags
shouldering so much,
visible and invisible.
Oh Lord, sustain me,
I pray!
Lend me
strength to
continue,
lest I should
fall and not
be able
to get
up.

Petals

When I was little, I used to pick all of the petals off the flowers in the backyard and scatter them on the grass, on the dirt, on rocks, in the pool, on the play set, and anywhere else you could imagine thinking it would make everything look more beautiful and colorful, but little did I know that I was killing the flowers in the process. I didn't realize I was doing the same to myself until I couldn't give the best parts of me to people because they were already gone. I gave pieces of myself to everyone I ever cared about and those pieces of me died after I couldn't get them back. Don't pluck your petals and leave yourself with a stem. You're so much more than that.

I woke up cold
back on the slab
in my tiny cell.
My head was pounding.
The last thing I remember
before I dozed off
was Mister Suit
asking me baseline questions.
Then it was a series of flashing memories.
Sparks flying,
Screams.
Voices.
A thrashing body.
Bright blood splattered
against
the pale yellow walls,
a face without eyes.
I guess the pink pill worked,
what are those ******* control boys
going to do now?
Nothing's traceable.
Me 1.
Them 0.
It should be a wake-up call for them.
Long live Moonstone!
I know it's not over yet.

breathe a breath now,

if ever were

wind stood,
            awaiting
wings
        display
now, why staying
for eternity.
