light dark bright black white,
the yin and the yang of time;
morning, day then night.

I can't take another day of running into the ground head first trying to catch something that may as well be non-existent.
I cannot look at you anymore with a mirage of love in my eyes when we both know the spark between us was never fed enough oxygen.
I won't allow fear or anger to manipulate what my heart vividly sees.
I will not live in this perpetual ******* darkness while the earth still shines.

All that's left to do is put one foot ahead of the other.

Our progression is swift-
Maybe a bit corrupt,
But more accepting.
Big dreams, slim chances.
Vagabonds at heart,
Risk-takers with mind dances.
We all wish to change the world-
So cliché, but more true now,
Than ever before.
Leaders… everyone being their own.
Preparing for change;
We will be anticipating
The best.
Time marches on
and also do soldiers
and widows
and orphans
and property holders
and days become weeks
and weeks become years
and rain soaks the ground
and also do tears
