I'd slay that soul through poisoned words
But all I do is devour alone.
You left a hole in this bone
That I can write no more.
Poetic T Jan 2015
The heavens wept as one of the
Universes beauties was,
Tortured,
*****,
Poisoned
Upon fertile fields now bare,
Her emotions fell as acid searing upon her skin
So they sent tears from upon high
Searing,
Molten,
Drops
"Bathed the atmosphere"
"Shimmering like a thousand shooting stars"
For too return beauty the skin
Must be pealed to show her inner self.
When healed, time past that which scarred upon
Her earth, rivers, seas now gone.
As one of the beauties of the universe
Shone brighter in the heavens than before.
She needs a cleansing
In these poisoned days,
Arms to hold, smiles, love, comfort,
More than I could ask.
Petrichor Definition: a pleasant smell that frequently accompanies rain after a long period of warm, dry weather.
