Silence Screamz Oct 2014
Step over boundaries
and seamless shores,
through the waves of eternity,
wanting no more.

Grandeur and stillness,
guiding our sight,
leaving us breathless,
searching for light.

Beauty surrounds,
erases the stain.
Inhale the air,
free with no vain.

Cautiously certain
and casually kind,
Seeing the world,
freeing our mind.
Kimberly Seibert Aug 2014
Somewhere in there was a heart,
the nucleus to the madness created.
Greet reality with good intentions,
even if you deserve to be damaged.
Love is love is love, is lust; is a lie.
Ivy Haegan Mar 2014
The mind is endless space
So much room for so many ideas
The phrase "open-minded"
Is a wonderful phrase indeed
To open that infinite space
And to accept knowledge, opinions
And other things
Things you can not simply get
By yourself
So now, you must agree with me
When I say that the phrase
"Small-minded"
Is incorrect and impossible
The only correct phrase
For the meaning of
"small-mindedness"
Would be "close-mindedness"
No one has a small mind
They just refuse to fill up
The humongous space they have
They want to believe
That they have all the knowledge
That they'll ever need.
That, of course, is impossible
And irrational.
But These people are not
Stupid,
Or dumb,
Or stubborn,
**They were simply taught wrong
Meenu Syriac Mar 2014
The wind blows this way,
Silence of the night keeps me sane.
The truth, I sit and ponder
As my life beats away.
Too many moments forgotten in pain,
Undocumented, unwanted,
Shelved in some corner
No one to care.

Listening to the wind blow
Rustling leaves and banging windows.
This mind of mine has wandered too far.
The world, I shunned
The people I left.
Maybe another soul,
Who'd love to join me
As I walk this realm
Unchained and free.
