Melodies come whisping out
of my speaker,
engulfing my mind with a haze
almost as thick
as the one I just
inhaled, clouding my brain
with all the thoughts I push away
in my attempts to live my
individual,
unlonely life
when the depth of my soul hankers
for the carnation blooming
at the deepest depths
of your confused persona,
and the moment I find my heart
scrambling free,
reaching for its life in the midst
of gathering strength to likely break
another, you come around
one more moment,
and the springs I loaded beneath
my quivering ankles,
they unlock and unload,
melting me right back into your
rhythm and blues,
and I inhale that curiosity,
snorting and convulsing,
shivering hard against my uncontrollable
goose-bumped arms
as I fall back into your chorus
and verse three
repeats the reprise
of the
first verse
I ever heard.
You’re always just a reach away
For every time I go astray
There’s nowhere I could ever go
That Your love won’t reach, I know.
Potential chorus--should I try writing more of this?

Standing by the riverrun
a lone a last a everything
the mass was floating and unfolding
I was the engine she was the chorus.

Twisting about the bend
One fell one fall one everything
the mess was unfolding and holding
I could only touch her if she was nune.

Looking past the looking-glass
Her nerves her curves her everything
the miss was touching and forever
I be gone and be all by the riverrun.
My opening poem to this site.

The calm rolled over our bodies, a lake with no waves,
the birds sang their song.
It was in that crystal moment that I realized that this wasn't going away.

The feeling grows, the song is a chorus, the evening sky
a Matisse, vivid and dynamic.
The cupids dance.

Your hair and skin radiating and me with a grin.
You are Venus and me, I'm the moon.

Venus, I love you.
