I walked out into a blissful dawn
Drawn to the emerging hues of hope
Dispelling over the hills
Dark streaks of orange layered with bright yellow.
Spilling towards me.
I spied Robin
flying low beneath the suns rays
to greet me as promised.
Now that the shackles are gone
Together we may go

We watched the sun rise that morning
Knowing that, anything, was possible.
I'm finish my last exam today. Two years of the Leaving Cert over. Now what?
Sip
Sipping on the sweetest of liquors
But poison soon to be
That fuels famous fools and lovers
with tears of a bitter enemy

Eventually the oldest friends
Will ****** that bottle down
Til throats dry up and tears don't flow
And then we'd rather drown
I lay you down on the floor
Displayed for all to see
How was I to know that
What you needed wasn't me?

What you needed was closure
And you craved less exposure
To the damage of reality
Yes, then you'd be free

But that was of no avail
To you, at least, my love
Instead you ended up falling
I hope now you'll rise back up

I apologise for everything
That I did and didn't do
I apologise in knowing
That I did this to you
Idk

Rolled tight and sealed
with my lips this pome
I wrote for you
and placed inside a bottle
Tide is going out
as the sun is setting
with a pome inside a bottle
and you still on my mind
Blue winds and waves
will bring it to you
This pome inside a bottle
Just another love song
like the ones we used to listen to
as the moon rose o'er the ocean
watching the tide come in.

In sparkles and butterflies she's coming to grace the stage,
it's said,
astonished to be made aware,
the stage at Glastonbury 2014,
is to share,
Dolly Parton and her bits,
diamante maybe dressing her ****,
the queen of country,
along with Debbie Harry,
what a strange combination,
let us all pray,
that Glastonbury doesn't drown this year,
I fear perhaps it will!
