Just when your world collapses

To the point of fall apart

There still resides a tiny spark

Deep within your hungry heart

The tiniest of slivers

A slight glimmer of hope

A righteous nod from the voice of God

Letting you know you're not alone

TO ALL POETS

Each of us is different
yet we are (bottom-line)
the same
true to self
that's what really  matters
words are the joys and tears of our heart
none can stop them--never, ever
--
When we think of "self",
We identify as
I.
Me.
Singular.
But are we really only just one person?
Is I actually plural?
There are different versions of ourselves.
Some versions we trap deep inside in cages
And some we throw on stage to perform every day.
We discussed this in my Psych class and it was pretty interesting.

susan
you asked me to join you
back to the world that was once a part of us
   so, so long ago
for you're still frequenting the same stops
   visiting the same people
sharing the same stories
     the same
     always the same
you don't seem to realize
   or to accept
i'd grown tired of the same
   bored with the predictable
     sick of you
because you're stuck with the same
   and you're happy with that

but me, now
   i'm different.
i wish
i were as brave as the rain
because
they are not afraid to
fall

when there is no one there to catch them...

they are the strongest, bravest and
saddest things I've known :(

PS:
-the thought "the rain are not afraid to fall" were not from me . :)

sad
I write;
because I'm sad.
But now,
I can't write;
because my mind,
is a mess;
and my heart,
is a wreck.
my emotion right now
I can only breathe the air
after it has rained,
when it tastes like lightning
and thunder and sky.
It's the only time my lungs
feel clean and your breath
isn't there and the burning stops.

You left a storm in my mind
and an icy wind in my heart.
It's storming, come dance in the rain?
