(1)

I bring two tiny hands
to my lips
both so tender
a smell of new life
just released from within
soft pinkish hands
that make mine look like giants
raring to grasp some warmth
for that sense of security
while i, too,
await that tight grasp on my finger
and that first sweet smile, for
they bring new beginnings
and countless dreams to be dreamt.

(2)

I bring two tiny hands
to my lips
like those of an angel's
pinkish
soft
tender
light as a soft feather's touch
it is a trip to the clouds
overwhelming
feeling so much joy
unexplainable tears
f a l l i n g
feels like
H e a v e n.

Poetry by MAN
Mind loaded like a gun..
Heart seeks like a Missile
Mouth shoots off like a Poetry Pistol
Velocity from verbs..words will drill
Into your mind giving you a mental thrill
There's a bang in my slang
Sting venomous when stang
Songs are sung this one I sang
Pieces of my soul my words are true
Writing these bullets shooting at you
In war of words I am a General
Topics range from Vegetable, Animal to Mineral
Endless ammunition arranged in rhyme
Rhythmm And Poetry  machine gun of the mind
Hammer cocked..pull the trigger..bullets whistle..
Words glow from my soul shot from Poetry Pistol..
M.A.N 5-22-14 I thought of this poem about month ago when I was writing a bunch of poems a day I feel as if I need to have 20 poems going at once like loading a pistol when I post I feel as if I'm shooting off my PPistol hit or miss who knows..lol

I, like a robin in late fall, flew south
To escape memories of northern snows

I discovered mountain vistas, breathless
Oceans as warming as tropical seas
Food made with love and fresh ingredients
And old friends whom I met for the first time

The snows will fall as sure as I'll miss ya'll
Yet the heat of Dixie forever warms my soul
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord, my soul to keep
If I make it through the night
I guess I've won another fight

Listen Lord, for now I pray
I wish to live another day
I've been bad since my beginning
I've been involved in lots of sinning

It's time I made a choice and turned toward a better road
It's time to leave my past behind
I've prayed before but was not committed
I was afraid of what I'd find

Lord, help me make it through the night
Show me how to reach the light
I only ask for one small sign
I'll give you all I have that's mine

I've found salvation in a glass
In needles and in smoke
Lord, that is just where I've been
Since the last time that we spoke

Many folks have come to me
To try show me the way
I toasted them on their way out
And continued on life's play

Now, I've had enough of all
The hurting and the pain
So, Lord, I pray to you this night
Will you listen once again?

Now I lay me down to sleep
A sinner through and through
Just let me make it through the night
Just tell me what to do

I put my faith in what I see
I don't believe in other's words
So, Lord, just help me this one time
Show you listened and you heard

Take your seat
Your love gifted me thousand buckets of memories all are smeared with tears
Drink the caffeine-tears I shed for you
I want to know the feelings of lacerating me that you nourish in your heart,
I am trapped in your love
Like a fly trapped in a spider’s web
If you are not a picaroon, if you are not a sorceress,
If you are not a heart breaker, if you are not the heart snatcher
If you are not the birth giver of my poetry, if you are not my chimera
Reason of my all phantasm, if you are not an oath breaker
Then you are not my woman.
For you my poems are the best caffeine that you might ever have….
