zebra Aug 2017
she sat quietly in a cafe
pale
freckled with only one arm
and a missing foot
always shaking invisibly

deformed
from the curse of desolation

facing downwards
she read the couplet

her maiden voyage was a lonely one
and it lasted all the days of her life

she wept silent tears
through interminable silent days
and starless nights
fearing her resemblance
to that ode of the forsaken

her countenance
a broken heart

i've come for you
i whispered

i'm a busted doll she said
see my pretty stumps
wheelchair
crutch
do you like them

strangely yes ...so very much
i wept softly

no one wants me
she yowled
i'm a blight of horror
a castaway to be avoided
my life a nightmare
of dark estrangement
a walking wound in tears
to crooked to be loved
a torn doll

looking into the depths of her soul
i called
i've always wanted a lopsided girl
with flaying stumps
and a brooding heart
to save
to love
to heal
to cuddle
and adore
to cry over
with wild warping hugs
always aching
for my darling
little cripple

we kissed
wet mouthing clamors
lips and tongue
like oleo spread

i picked her up
and tangled her in my arms
as she thawed like heated oil

i ran off with her
tears streaming
and visited upon her
every kindness and pleasure of heaven
*and it lasted all the days of her life

Tears

When your thoughts strike like a dart
My feelings gets pierced in my heart

Every night I wet my pillow with tears
As if gods listening to my prayers

Life seems to be fun with you
I can't imagine how that happiness, just flew
I hope you always knew
That my love was true

How easy for you to forget those days
Nothing is as heavy as this pain weighs
When you truely love someone and after sometime when they don't care about you anymore, The only things you are left with are tears and prayers

Gone once
Unlike most
They'll come again
They are ahead
Keep me going
a man cries 365 a year
for want of his daily touch of peach
But im a prickerly pear
breed to be immune from male guilt
but if youre nice im soft inside
For 20 days
you called me psycho
While you were calling him on the phone.
20 days
I was there for you
While in the back of your mind he was why you asked me to leave you alone.
For 20 days
you told me you were working on us
But you were with him talking about trust
For 20 days
I was giving you space to think
For 20 days
He was why we didn't speak
For 20 days
I begged and bled for you to notice me again
But all along it was a waste of my time thinking we would begin again.
For nights that pass faster than the days dull slow
The lights on your evening road catch your gaze
When gardenias line the garden maze

The center of the room greet you with drinks and rest
For the world around you takes your breath and you can't resist
The soft blur from a beer and lemonade

Continue your stroll and everything's changed
As she is what stands in the center of the maze
So you introduce her to you and the coming days

You're in love
Your evening roams lead to her
To feel more than whole

As your vision clears you start to see
That she has put you back up for sale and for whatever reason you don't mind
As she takes off with your old shirt under varying lights

For nights that pass faster than the days you remember
The summer's embrace is the only grip to keep you warm
As you return to the soft blurs that help you roam

Another gardenia lines the maze
As you stray from prying eyes
Singing to trees in a drunken haze
Only to talk about what is seen as better days

I miss you

Hi luv
It is 11:42
It is my heart counting hours
Left for us to meet
And hug
While lips chat intimately
For it's been long without meeting...

Hours pass like days
And days like years
Of hunger and drought
In one of those nomadic places
Where rain stops
And food is scarce...

It might be a trial
Where i risk a life sentence,but
Come rain come sunshine
I will lose not
This trial of love
For i am a professional lawyer
In matters of the heart...
I miss you to the moon and back
