On the shore of the river
I'm standing alone
When the boat arrives on the shore
Helmsman-free.

The boat is mine
not visible yet
But, thinking about it
seeing the future
that occurs in all scenes.

It flows by itself, however
one has to drive
so is it your own boat.

On the way forward
you have to go on your own
no more fatigue.
An ocean now between us
Should these waters
Ever again part
I wonder
How deep the chasm

Cold can be so warm,
On the outside of truth

Crashed below the water
Heavy and sunk
To the bottom
so far, so far
From where
The edge scrapes life
Underneath disguise

Took hold
Of temporary
Youth
Reflection holds the truth

It is so cold,
In open air
Above the pool
Where bodies swim
Say hello
Meet and embrace
In the blue

There is love, up high
Reaching
Reciting
What you believe
Love under the surface,
Scratched away
To find proof
On the outside of truth

lift the residue of darkness
numbing beauty into drab sorrow
melt this frost, clinging doubts
that leave my eyelids drained
tomorrow comes -
warm lover
tender morning glow
feeding upon raw skin
radiant light dabbing color
to soothe a chaffed world
swirling pigment, tingling umber
brushstrokes that nourish hope
glazed in powdery confection
sweet luxury upon my breath

In the cold, dark
        of January,
         I remembered
              you
        the most.
  As the chill
      snapped bones
              like branches,
     as the afternoons
   bathed themselves
in gray,
     as the birds
and the backs
      shook,
so did my lips
   around your name.
I'm so happy
     January is almost
over now.
