Wonder
Rube Frost Apr 2016
Late at night I wander through the rain
Longing for a place I be at home
Where at last my heart remain
Freed from this endless roam

Mark the questions of wonder
Since I don't know what's real
And for eternity goes on the ponder
On what could be my deal

Though the rain is all I've known
A hope resists to believe
In a pathway paved with stone
Which lead to a thing I don't deserve to receive.

Untitled
Rube Frost Mar 2016
Death loses its meaning, and with it, life void of you
As your presence first entered my story.
Now how can I not be feeling in the blue
To know you exist, in all that heavenly glory,

Yet never have I felt your thunder.
Do you even feel the same about me? I begin to wonder..

I See You See
Rube Frost Mar 2016
I watch those twinkling eyes of yours,
Yet never see them look at me.
Evading me, like a half-rotten corps.
Does it exist at at all for you, this person that's me?

Forever Lone
Rube Frost Mar 2016
Our minds act as virtual realities,
Portraying to the soul the world we feel and taste;
Adding up to that whatever we please.
So what we think and see come interlaced.

Yet all I find is but subjective
'Cause in this world all is mine.
Left no way to be affective
Towards those outside this shell of mine.

Forever lone in a stinky hole
Where none reach, nor can I be gone,
And see beyond the limits of my soul
To a spirit that is not my own.

Answers, I seek
Rube Frost Mar 2016
I ask, what do I portray?
What reason, what cause
Bind me to this play?
To live and die, simply because?

When it began or end one day;
Whether this is all it ever was;
If it not go another way;
Or it stay, forever, like it was.

Who would answer my deepest fears?
Who could explain this death parade?
Please, I beg, catch the tears
Caused by life's mystery parade.

Answers, I seek, that heal the wounds.
Silence answers and plunders what's left.
Thus the ignorance then surrounds
The Last of Hope, now lost in theft.

Who am I
Rube Frost Feb 2016
Time and time again
I find myself
At the threshold,
Where life diverges into a million different outcomes.
Yet, time and time again
They make me doubt
And forget who I am.

The Rain
Rube Frost Jan 2016
I await the rain
To fall down and wash away
The times I regret
So the pain is left behind
And the rain blesses me life

The Cause
Rube Frost Jan 2016
Who would know the cause
Of these feelings I hold dear.
Who but you, my love.

I am Sorry
Rube Frost Jan 2016
My face is scarred with grief,
And regret for my failures,
For all the acts of mischief,
That now, I've lost you too.

How I've been awake through the night,
Dreaming of your presence,
Of the beauty released at your sight,
And the emptiness within me resolved.

Shake me awake, o Goddess of Love,
Though never have I been asleep.
Kiss me good night, o Goddess of Love,
Though it's the night I know too well.

I am empty without,
Like a sky with no wind,
Like an order with no shout,
There's no me without you.

You are all that I need,
Forget those friends and family.
It's you towards I want to lead.
None else could fulfil my longing.

From dark and grim, rescue me,
My fallen angel, lost grace of mine,
Or what else could I ever be?
But crippled, pained and sorry.

You
Rube Frost Jan 2016
You
Make the flowers bloom,
And rivers flow;
Rid mortals of their doom.
In your grace, reach no foe,
There darkness could not loom.

Sleep
Rube Frost Jan 2016
Beauty, let me sleep beside you.
It's all I want to think about to do:
To be kept in your warm embrace
And find bliss together with you, my grace.

No, ashamed am I not of this feeling,
These desires. I know with what I'm dealing,
Though you might find me sick and old.
Know you are all I want to be foretold.

Next to you may I find peace,
Let the pain then finally cease.
Fall and fall, and fall again;
Let me just hold you to fight the **pain
.

Spears of Light
Rube Frost Jan 2016
Lightning sure falls bright;
For once the night turned to day.
Come see, spears of light!
As all else thus fades away,
Left behind is none but you.
