They asked me to speak
So I tried
But wouldn't sit around waiting to listen
All they wanted was words
And I was made up of so much more.
Sometimes it's in the silence that we find the answers we wish not to find.
Sometimes it's better not to ask, but to observe and wait though the wait may be eternal.
Patience is of most upmost importance when dealing with others, for how can we demand and expect so much of others, when we ourselves find fault in our ownselves?

After laying awake way past her bedtime
There where nights she cried herself to sleep,

Thinking how could she have possibly been so naive?

But as she closed her eyes and wanders down the streets of once-used-to-be's
She realises, she'd lost herself to a past of full of mistreatment
But now she refuses to be a victim of it and stands tall rising above it
There used to be a time she'd been used, and so to be used was all she knew
And to crave love, a sense of belongingness, was unthinkably selfish
So instead of finding love from within,
She'd give her all to all those who'd treat her like she didn't mean a thing
And apologised and forgave repeatedly though she was never to blame
She became a dreamer of dreams to cope with the painful reality of things

But now instead of living with wishful thinking
She wakes up and struggles hard to make her dreams into a reality
No longer a slave to her fictional fantasies

Its great to be good friends with yourself,
Not in a selfish manner,
In a way which can  accommodate others into your life, but also not allow them to take advantage of you.
Know yourself,
Love yourself,
Talk to yourself,
Laugh at yourself,
Its worth it..
Trust yourself, even just a bit.it can go a really long way,
Trust your instincts.
You won't ever know anyone, the way you can possibly know yourself.
Love yourself.
Its almost impossible to make everyone you love love you the way you love them.so why not give some love to yourself atleast you'll be sure, you love you and you loves you back!
You*  were  born  beautiful,
From  your  head  to  your  toes,
Your  hair  to  your  nose,
And  your  complexion  to  your   supposed   "flaws",
You  don't  need  to  bleach  your  skin,
Just  to  fit  in ,
Flaunt  what  you  own ,
Let  the  doubts  about  your  body  be  gone ,
Beauty  is  in  your  nature ,
You  just   have   to  build  it , nurture  it .
Remember - it starts from within.
No matter how many compliments you may receive,if you don't acknowledge your beauty, they won't matter.you'll probably just take them as sarcasm.
Accept and love you.

For Claudine.
bodies move
           my heart beats
                   my breath becomes short

sometimes life always seems in motion
moving too fast for me to catch up
strange that i am trying to catch up
                                                                                                  to my own life

as i slowly become aware of my breath
my life begins to slow down
i am still in motion,
but my head is quiet and my heart is at peace.

i am grounded in the inner cell of my heart,
and now i can go about doing the will of my Creator
with a heart at ease.
Written while doing my on call at at hospital as a chaplain.
Want to hear a silent voice?
Shut your ears
And
Open your heart,
Not literally.

Sometimes I feel like a shadow, merely
flowing through the background,
affected by light and dark and not
really
changing anything.
Sometimes I feel like a
supporting actor,
unimportant
though I'm writing the script.
Sometimes I pretend to believe
in something greater,
just to make the day pass
with a little less friction.
Sometimes I write sad poems
about things I don't really believe
just to pass the time between classes.
