memory's floorboards
the worn wood blackened
by weary footfall
constantly retracing steps
sometimes with worries or strife
sometimes retraced with loves forlorn wish

memory's floorboards
it has ceaseless wonders of hope
a spaghetti of things lived felt seen heard
that give credence to the hope you hold
and helps you endure

lay open your your tightly shut window
lay bare to sunlight
these tapestries of your life
this mosaic of your life's journey
this room of faces past
places distant
roads once traveled

look upon this face you wear within
this ink and dust face
see the truth of you and then
embrace the moment you live in
with thouse you love
leave this room with its memories
walk in the sunshine
All of a sudden, I feel knocked off balance; and my head seems to spin
If I fall gravity is going to win
What is happening, is it Love or is  it just Vertigo

When I write,
it's for me,
Not for you.
These thoughts are mine,
For me to judge,
Not for you.
Ideas for me to sort out,
For me to find myself again,
Not for you.
These words keep me sane,
There for me to help,
Not for you.

Marian
I don't know what the paths of life will bring
Still I must trust in him I must believe
I received him I know that for sure yet in life there are many
hardships to endure at times there are battles along the path that
make me confused and shaken but about His love I cannot be
mistaken
He who made the blind man see can surely repair my feeble hands
and weakening knees
He can restore to me my faith, hope and security
I place my problems at Jesus feet in him their is victory not defeat.
We walk down His path day by day
If things are too difficult, He'll show us the way
He is our shelter in the time of storm
And He protects us from harm
When we pray to Him, He is ever near
And every prayer He doth hear
We do not know what the paths of life will bring
But we will continue to praise Him and sing

Once I saw fire in the moon
On the raw night bout to ripen
As she sits on the great walls of night
Singing lullabies to the worldly kin
As I said I saw the fire
A ruby that rested in pride on her *****
As she wore the star lights midnight robe
Once I saw fire in the moon
How would the moon look ?
Coffee is Coffee
and Tea is Tea
Burn your lips and think of me

I wear them to hide my eyes
To hide my face
My disguise from a world filled with lies
You see...
Everything looks pink and pretty
So much better than the reality
I don't wanna believe in the dark things
Ugly things
Scary things
Nothing is what it seems behind these lenses
The world is but a dream
With pretty grass on both sides of the fences
Rose tinted sunglasses
Help me through
Show me all the good in you
And when I look in the mirror
I can see what you do
Rosy cheeks and a beautiful smile
Can't you see?
That's why I haven't taken them off
In such a long while...
White paint peels off to leave the walls bare,
naked and exposed to
elements.
Much like her soul.
Starved of love and affection,
accepted but not wanted.
Tolerated.
The sun casts her shadows on those
she frowns upon,
leaving winding roads to spiral out of control.
Time shifts her world from
it's axis as it progresses,
it doesn't heal,
it doesn't lessen,
It just is.
Echoes of your voice ricochets
to find her heart,
carrying the exact weight they
did the second they fled your tongue,
never shedding an ounce of momentum

"The waves of pain
that had only lapped at her
before now
reared up high and pulled her under .."
