Let it break you
Cut your fingertips
On the shards
Let it change you
Find new edges
And shapes in the glass
Let it remake you
Reflect the damage back
With bloodied mirror fragments
Leave your memory
Deep in their marrow
Haunt the corners of their sight

life won't be gentle
and it doesn't know love

life will drag on
and bring you down too

life isn't ever fair
and it's certainly not kind

Side by side.

Hand in hand.

Dancing under the Eiffel tower at midnight.

The ultimate love story a dance of wind, ghosts at night slowly

intertwining with each other as if the kiss of death is just one moment

away.
For those who believe in the little things, like dancing at midnight.

Ineffable
I loved you to a point where,
Even the atheist in me,
Prayed, for your safety.
Prayed, for your dreams.
For I may have forgotten religion,
But loving you brings it back.
It's ok, we're going to make it. Rest your head and go to sleep, next thing you know you will find me next to you.

it's easy to tell the difference
between wrong and right
it's easy to tell how much it contrasts;
deciphering black from white.

yet often does the shade
make everything look gray,
shadows cast may trick your eyes,
even the strongest tinge can fade.

they're a long mile apart -
a fire and a golden cup;
the fire is bound to grow
and could be put out with a puff;

yet if you let yourself be fooled
nevermind the salient rut;
it is in a ditch of eternal regret
in which you are bound to end up.
