I said goodbye
And stifled the tears with a reassuring
‘I know they will be back’.
But maybe,
Maybe I don’t know this.
Because I always thought you would come back,
But I haven’t seen you since the world last had color
And the birds still seemed to sing.
Your voice is telling me
a story.
Your eyes, another.
The blinding confusion,
it tells me that,
Perhaps it isn't a story
to be told,
But a chapter to be written.
My first poem y'know

How long do I need to wait?

I've been here for a year
With my heart in my hand
And nothing more to offer.

How long do I wait?

Until you notice me.

How long still,
Would I have to believe
That you are going to be mine?

How long do you think it'll be
Till I give up?

And how long would it take
For you to begin to miss me?

How long?

Isn't it strange
That you
cause
the pain
And
The only cure
For it
Is you.
Mind says hate them; Heart says love them.

It is like through clear glasses
And it was right in front of me
Yet I couldn't see
The way it passes

Like a sickening breath
It all hurts
And it comes in bursts
And then comes death

Why couldn't it appear
Loud and clear
In front of me
Like the black tear

And now we are free
From our dark desires
Hanging from white wires
And we didn't flee
For a friend <3
