Create your own world, put everything you wish in it;
you can change the colors of the trees,
and pick the fragrant of the breeze.
put your heart in it, your imaginations that only you can know.

Don't let anyone in, remove everything that you don't need.
Create a world where you can do whatever you want to do;
go fly, go breathe under the sea, go talk to the trees.
Don't let anyone in, don't let anyone change what's in it;
it's yours, your own hiding place. your blissful solitude.

Don't be afraid to wander inside your own mind,
get lost in it;
let it be your close friend,
let it color you. It's you.
Live your own world, don't dream inside it;
breathe, run, jump, be alive.

Just don't let anyone in.

Do you ever wonder why,
leaves are most beautiful ,
when they're about to die?

Scortched red like fireflies,
they sail delicately across
the sullen sky.

But tussling against the whirlwind,
each little leaf dwindles.
Now breathless and wilted.
Disfigured and shriveled,
they kiss the grass and taste the soil.

He and I:
hummingbirds
on a branch
breathing
each other
in with ease.

Still not a we.
stop
and make time
for the things you love,
or the things you love
will stop
making time for
you.
a short, but very necessary, reminder.
