To feel
- Oct 2020
There are tremors in me
The peel of falling skin , Releasing
An open wound right after
Bridges have been knocked and
Taught to stand in solitude

It is an open dam where
The rush of water, of you come
Flooding into the already sinking
Space of a wound
But it isn't your fault, you were
Dams and stitches away
Swimming far from the torrents of
Water that is too murky , suffocating and
Drowning

And I'd watch , with the sea churning
Circling and consuming while your
Head bobs away , the awe , curiosity and
Concern slowly free-styling away

I'd try to splash, fight the currents ,
Get you to see that I am my own lifebuoy but
I don't because I can't
And so there you go , dried in the saviour
Of a sunshine
And I smiled for you before

Letting go and slowly seeping
Into the cracks of a falling light house
Bricks, water and faltering light
All crashing into disgruntled harmony
Accompanying the solitude I tried to
Crumble
Love is hard. Sometimes you meet someone who speaks your heart but they go so fast and you wonder if it was all in your head.

Would we
- Feb 2019
Can’t you let the sun tint you
And the air wrap round your suffocated
Spirit
Cant you pretend to drift like a dandelion
Dropping into withered grass
Cant you hold the rainbows in your
Daunting irises
And let the rays beam around your
Fragile heart

Dear you
Made up of intricate bonds
That crumble to dust
Ashes in the firewood
Of hopes and kindling flame

Would you take heart
In the glassy persona
Behind mirrors and closed hearts

Would you reach out your fragile hands
And with shaky fingers
Hold the mountain and skies
In your fingertips
random piece :)

Ever after
- Jan 2019
Since the rotation of sun and moon

The friction between diversity
Has resurfaced
Rubbing harder than the depletion
Of CO3
How these little specks drown monochrome
And grasp the shades that appease
Their glistening eyes
These drooping dandelions fly in the baby white
Mist drifting away from roses they take as shrubs

He has eyes that tell stories
Irises brandished in
Starlit wonder and constant adventure
It is inviting as it ever is
And sometimes the stolen glances I dare
Leaves my heart hammering
Right under his nose

He is ever kind and gentlemanly
For he catches my aloof with his little smirk
And though my feelings are bursting bright
He closes an eye and holds me dear
With him around my head’s a spinning
As I mirror cliche with things unthinkable
Even so
He chortles my heart away

He has spirit that radiates
Against my light heart -edness
When his flurry of thoughts spark
I see the moment in his palms
He pours his soul
With things only I thought I fathomed
And in those moments
Filled with electricity that buzzes
I want to delve into his delicate stature

To explore the fragments of his complexity
That thrives in the corners of his
Half smiles and reddened cheeks
someone special
