I am sore
and I don't know if the marks on my neck are from you
tiny capillaries burst from a night of intimacy
or from a drunken mistake.

I am tired
a tired that can't be fixed by sleep
but by you kissing my nose and smiling
I'm sorry I made silent promises I couldn't keep.

I wanna be your peach
And I want you to be my plum
but I don't know if you can be my earth
Because I'm no ******* sun.
call me back I'm sorry
I don't want to imagine you and her
hands intertwined
walking together in the dark concrete jungle
while I'm left alone on these cold dirt roads.

I can't imagine how you could ever
love a girl like me
that looks upon your past
with such jealousy.

And you wouldn't imagine
how one look in those eyes
makes me gravitate towards you
and forget those times
when you were
with her.

Kiss me a secret but one that you can keep .
Meet me at the edge of the world where it's
silent . I promise there won't be anything violent
there . Tell me im pretty while you adjust those
dandelions in my hair . Would you kiss my neck
if I told you this is a dare . I'll leave a poem in your
mouth for you to keep until the next day comes and
we'd get to meet as the winds ruffle through your curly
hair . For now I'll leave you with these words of I love
you I love you hanging up in the air ~

At 11:59 pm
You spilled your secrets
And told me you loved her
At 12:00 am, I sat in silence and braced myself
For the familiar wave of despair to hit
But it didn't.
I filled the room with a sigh of releif
But then I asked myself
Will I still be okay at 4 am?
I wasn't.

You
You're like the smell before rain and the smell of fresh coffee grains.
Allow me to dance with your ventricles tonight but promise to not
call me insane. You're the emissary vein to my left right brain. Darling your the poet and the beat. Your what's making me stand
up on my feet. Your words make me sweat faster than summer's heat.
If I tell you I love you would you promise to play that melody for me once again the melody you said that rhythms with my heart's beat ~

i may not be jasmine
but i can travel the world with you
i may not be mulan
but i'll be fighting for you
i may not be snow white
but i'd die for you
i may not be cinderella
but i'd wait for you past midnight
i may not be ariel
but i'd swim with you through the storms
i may not be belle
but i'd still love you past your beastly appearance

i may not be your average princess
but i'm still me
and i'll be here for you
MY people are gray,
pigeon gray, dawn gray, storm gray.
I call them beautiful,
and I wonder where they are going.
