Far from the coast a solemn breeze blows,
over the ocean and rattles his bones.
Bringing with it a silent omen
of the vicious winds to come.
The horizon darkens and his uncertainty shows
by spreading goose flesh from his hands to his toes.
Quiet speed hastens the rapid air flow,
carrying the lingering smell of a rose.
He flees the beach to avoid the memories,
from this oppressive invasion of his nose.
Yet still it follows him through winding roads,
the smell, the feel, the thought, of a rose.
With thorns to get lodged in his frontal lobe,
and short out his brain until it overloads.
At last he stumbles upon a gathering,
in these trees' humble abode.
The forest line stands strong,
and he would never impose,
yet these trees' leaves stopped the memories,
from following him home.
First, your face
decked
by jewels
and half lifetimes

Broken vessels
fill your dazed
neck

Your eye and lash
come from this mountain
of granite,
smoke and cancer

from the soil, you cut them
as a fragrant lemon

You let yourself fall
the dust of your feet
empties you,
measures you,
overcomes you
dust by dust
blow by blow
finely
on the snow
of Berlin.

Then, a nest,
of fork
and knife
gives birth to
snakes
and stairs

turquoise step
on which you sing
and pray.

Finally, abysses,
acids, earthquakes,
only existent
in indian dreams

cloak of thirsty
and yellow threads

You let it fall
You go away
to let yourself know
you are exiled
from every country,
from your sands,
from your nation,
from your glass
from your ashes of Paris.

and after a while, all smiles are to me is just a movement of muscles around the cheek and mouth area.
Slowly
I feel myself giving up
again

except
there is a difference this time
this time
no one can save me
no one can stop me

im just done
im done with the sadness, the depression, the aching
im tired of waking up to this familiar aching feeling

im tired of getting hurt
im tired of pushing people away
but i can't help it anymore
its the way I've grown to be

I just want to be left alone all the time
I feel like when im alone,
no one can hurt me

so this is my goodbye
im saying goodbye to the only things that were ever loyal to me
goodbye Sadness
goodbye Pain
goodbye Aching

you have overdosed me
my body can't take it anymore
so this is the end
this is my goodbye

I have read poems about springtime
everything they say is true
the whole season explained in rhyme
every detail uncovered,
except you.
Memories of the walks, enjoying hot dogs and sugared lemonade in the parks
Now a closet, an empty one, an empty house and heart lives on,
Shattered memories of circus fairs and tram cards played -
Lest the joy of salty tears slip of my face and onto the black, cemented ground.

‘oh, how dark tis the air I breath, heavy, a smothered breath it is.
The remains of those past, not yet investing in the calling of his that, and that his.
Leave me, until a later date, another time when dusk and dawn shall meet.
‘Till the sun ripens, arises emerald green, with a smile upon its face and five lines beside it, encircling it
‘Till death does part of me this body, that I may also - leave this earth.
‘Till the ground paints itself with gold, with biblical prophecies embroidered in that ground.

This journey, once named life now carved, engraved in stone abiding fates decisions -
as if thou life consists merely of one's destiny. As if life, my life tis thought of, precisely.
Possibly, just perhaps, maybe it is.

"I memorized your scent" you said as I walked into the room.
Looking through my lashes, I saw you smirking.
As our eyes met, I chuckled.
"Oh, really?" I replied.
I've memorized yours a while ago.
I've memorized your laugh and your smile.
But I couldn't tell you -- instead I just nod and keep the love I have for you
Tucked away in a jelly glass jar;
Safe,
Hidden away on a shelf in my bedroom.
this is a part 2 of a poem I wrote a while back called Translucency
the day moves around me
coming to its close
anticipation of night on the tip of tongue
its dark mystery
its deep magics
you know nights true name
speak it now my sweet lover
speak it soft and swift
let us run together in nights sweet dark embrace

i see it coming
pierced the horizon with its dark threads
as it knits the fabric of stars from birds drifting in sky
filling the world with its soft aspects like a dream
the moon riding clouds that run untamed across open sky
watch them fly untainted by earthbound mortality's
watch the world unfold one grand moment
unscripted by foolish men's deeds

you know nights rightful name
summon the night
you know nights true name
speak it now my love
speak it swift and soft
like you are laying a kiss on its beloved countenance
let us run together in nights sweet dark embrace
for few love the night as we do
few see its grandeur
few know its everlasting deep loves
know its forgiving compassion's
you know nights true name
speak it now my love
speak it swift and soft
