The noisy
Burp-filled
Extravaganza,
The fiesta
Of drama
And dance
And drink

It will not come again
For a few moments
For some

For others
For an infinity of
Unwanted moments

For others
It will not come along
Because they will be gone

For those who are blind
Like me
It will pass unseen

I am spitting up universes
-like Kali- all destruction,
eclipsing the deceit of the Sun.

I will consume
the stars until I am pregnant
with the possibilities
of a new moon.

I am the keeper of secrets
-Like the High Priestess-all feminine,
divining the wisdom of bones.

My body imbued with the
spirits of indigo promise.

I will some day
leave this story
And like the birds
I shall inherit the wind.
Made some revisions that I am happy with. An older poem. I am in an entirely different place now.

Grace
Let me fall back into your heart,
And lie besides you
On this purple, diamond sea.

Let me unpeel your skin from your bones
And find again the love within you,
Running blue against your wrists.

Let me still visit like an old friend,
There to protect you
From those burning sienna skies.

Let me take from you the bottle, the dagger too,
For I will not let you
Lose yourself on these frothy, hemlock waves.

Let me, though I am dead, still beat in your heart,
For I will not leave you,
Until you too are ready depart.
One day, I'll stop writing about Frankenstein

I wanted to paint,
A trail of red,
Down your chest
leaving nothing but,
The stain of my lips,
To lay in contrast,
To your fair skin.
You brought forth,
A pallette in my eyes,
Birthed within a new,
Sight of purples,
Left behind,
By the lost ramblings,
I drown in after ***.
I keep seeing myself running towards his arms
And crashing into his chest
Like a wave spilling onto a beach,
A mess of salt, seafoam and sand.

To feel the warmth of his chest on my cheek
Would calm all these storms
And soothe all these waves.
Oh, to just feel his flesh.

When I reach for him, I find only empty spaces,
A wave spilling back into the ocean.
No sand, no flesh; only space.
I expected you to stay.

Expecations spell out heartache
In the strangest way.
The silver lining in your eye
Weighed heavy
And beckoned me to study in moments passing by,
Swiftly passing through our days,
Until we found our way.

The hot springs, beneath us,
Gave birth to knowledge of the sky
I was lost, though, in your cinnabar eyes
And withdrew every part
To give it back, equally.

And
I demonstrated how the planets align,
And you loved the motion of my hands
As they described the distant

you fell before Venus.
She said, "take your time."
But you denied

If I had known those eyes would take me to hell, through quicksilver fields, to a sudden, winter season...

But we moved swiftly through our days
Until we found our way.
I lost you along with myself.
Your absence is present in every heart aching thump in my chest and in every intake of breath.
And I'll cry every night mourning us both.

Yesterday I watched the world get torn away
Clenched my fists until I bled
Closed my eyes and a laugh escaped
I think I'm going crazy
But that's to be expected
Whatever happened to my happiness
Tied it off into a tourniquet
Didn't mind, I was made to forget
What's usefulness used for
If its utilized uselessly?

I
Have left behind
All
The things that bind
I
Have left behind
All
The things that bind

Tomorrow I'll see the reflection of my past
Can't count the days
But I'll watch them slowly degradet
It's all in asking the questions
Maybe the answers will spill out
When I'm not paying attention
What's usefulness used for
If its utilized uselessly?

I
Have left behind
All
The things that bind
I
Have left behind
All
The things that bind

Today came and went
Couldn't tell you a **** thing about it
I cleansed the dirt beneath my fingers
And pealed my skin away
What's usefulness used for
If its utilized uselessly?

I
Have left behind
All
The things that bind
I
Have left behind
All
The things that bind

(Today)
I have
(Tomorrow)
Left behind
(Yesterday)
All the things

That bind
