Wrinkles in the corner
of eyes aged with life
and crinkles for all the
laughter and tears shared
Almost seventy years young
he has carried me strong
a lifetime of burdens
he has bared
His shoulders wide
as mountain tops high
with welcoming arms
the span of the sky;
He carries his burdens
and stresses all on his own;
only laughter and smiles
does he show;
he is truly the most remarkable
man I know
So with heavy heart
and crystal tears,
I dedicate this to my papa
who has carried me
for so many years
I just want to say
I love you...
I think,  sometimes,  we forget just how much our parents give of themselves for their children.   But I do not, I remember every single day.  With love, to my dad.

Pretty girls tell petty lies
just to keep others on the outside.

They don't know who's listening,
they're too cool to care.
No one would confront them,
no one would dare.

I wish you
hadn't been so
beautiful
and I hadn't
so
naive

You'll be the first one to send a text
The first to say you're ready to commit
And if one day you show me you no longer care
I'll act like I never *gave a ****

I hope
    one day
        you'll see me
              and think
"why did i let her go."
Your perfection never faults, it may change but never dies.
Just like the trees leaves fall in winter and the loveliness alters, it still remains beautiful.

We had an unholy alliance,
you and I.
You played the Pope,
the devil me.
You were so fine,
you turned me
sinner.
And I would do it
all over again,
just to sip
from your chalice,
break your bread,
run my fingers
through
your sacrilige,
turn my blood
into your wine.

The luminous look you give her, scalds my heart deeply
