It is Ponnaiyar
Flowing to the Bay Bengal
and carries all dire rumour
Make everything fine and fertile!

This is our sprawling land
Our father painted on it with their soul and blood,

There was a time,
When their crop field remain pour.....
without our slog.....

Over the years .......
Many water flows through Ponnaiyar......

Now they don’t called us
to transplant their paddy ..

Now they don’t called us
to harvest their paddy....

Now they don’t called us
to harvest their Sugarcane......

Now they love their machine,

Over the years ....
Many water flows through Ponnaiyar.......

My mother once asked ‘who develop machine?’
I replied, ‘Scientist ‘..........
She said ‘they are selfish’.............

Over the years
Many water flows through Ponnaiyar..........

Now we travel around,
and hunt for  living..............

Ponnaiyar still flowing to the Bay of Bengal
and caries the memo of our grief and struggle.....
In memories of Adibasi people of  Uchimedu village of Pondicherry. In my visit to the area in last week got an opportunity to visit the village and talk to different Adibasi families, Jagon a local Adibasi youth who help me in the interaction. It is very difficult to forget people’s struggle and their fight to achieve dignity.
Ponnaiyar is a river of Southern India, started from of Nandidurg hill of Karnataka and flows to Bay of Bengal.

Wave comes and goes,
without displacing its position of sources!
Spiral cascade the links and
interwoven over time and space!
Flow continues transect over space and time!

If you want go by wave its sudden and momentary,
But no one avoid spiral, in fact life is spiral,
And when flow interlinks tumble in the spiral,
It woven the movement of matter and life,
As you reflected in ‘Last Supper’ and ‘Mona Lisha’!
So, we prefer flow with spiral not wave!
After going through the masterpiece Fritjof Capra “Learning from Leonardo”

Butterfly takes a seat..... on the flower....
.....to craft the route for a great continuity....
Both of them are now smiling.......
They have developed a new garden for humanity...
Knock down all the snag of cast and class........
Both of them are smiling.......
They tie the knot for existence, care and new vocation...
To creating a legacy of love and happiness.......
Today they are smiling under sprinkling of flowers and blessing!
Dedicated to two of my young friends who going to marry today. They struggle for years to arrive on this particular day, trying hard to break the hurdles cast and class. May god consecrate them to elevate their example of harmony and humanity!

Today while coming back from work
Make a visit to market of humanity
I saw, our respected friend scruples sales...
  ...... Maturity... with happiness

I stepped-forward to him...... and asked.....
‘You are here?’
He said, “What I can do! For everything you have to do marketing!”
I asked “how do you sale maturity?”
He replies “it is a matter of investment!
Now definition and priority changes.....
Maturity..... means.... maturity of policy, bond, fixed deposit....
Then only you can purchase happiness in this market.......”

I again inquired,
“What is ‘its cost’.......?”
He replied,
“Your investment is depending on how much happiness you want to procure!
Some time it is free, if you will exchange your getting on happiness with new! “

I left the market, with a plan to make a search
about our getting on happiness to get a new !

There many community in the North Eastern part of India who perceived Bamboo as a representation of God. There is a festival call ‘Bhatali’ in western part of Assam, where two Bamboo pole are decorated as bride and groom, ***** it on a tree, rituals are offered.  ‘Sonuwal Kachari’ a tribal community organized a festival called ‘Bah Gosai Puja’ (Bamboo God Rituals) in the first week ‘Bohag’ the first month of Indian Calendar( usually between April -15 to May-15). The Koch Rajbongshi people offer similar rituals in rainy season (in July) at Night; they consider Yellow Bamboo as the representation of God.    Apatani people Arunachal ***** a bamboo installation in front of their houses, believes it will protect  their house. So, Bamboo groves are maintained in every ethnic village here in North Eastern Part of India.  Bamboo is considered as poor man friend; Bamboo provides food, medicine, building material, resources for their craft etc. The words in the poem tries to summarized prayer offered in such rituals.

You come and
Surprisingly change everything!

You come to replace scorching aflame of daylight,
You come with thunder and wind;
Out of fear,
Tears come out from the sky!

We say
You are coming to visit your mother’s place!

We always wait for your visit
Because, your energy and plummeting forces
Not only wreckage but it set up the ground for creation!

We call you ‘Bordoichila’
The butterfly
Who dance and fly with vigour,
Distribute our individual wishes to others
to complete the progression for creation !

You are our adored sister,
The butterfly dancer!

We always wait for you
to dance with you
in the festival of spring!
From April to May many parts of India experiences thunderstorm.  There are many name for it, Kalbaishakhi, Bordoichila, etc. In Assam we call it ‘Bordoichila’ in our Assamese language, which is derived from the word ‘Bordoichiklha’ (the dancer who performed the dance Bagrumba, where butterfly movements are mimicked. It is a dance of Bodo community living in Assam). When the thunder storm   comes people use to say “Bordoichila coming to her mother’s place’.  Local people believe that thunder storm of this season is an indicator, how it will rain in summer; if it is prominent, there will be good rain or vies-versa”. This time 'Bordoichila'has not visited us yet.
