you have to sing poet
whenever possible
keeping rust at bay

and in your silence
words are forged
deeper than sound
There is a certain peace
In staring over the edge,
Into the void,
And seeing the ruined path
Laid out for lost souls,
Curving and bending, through
The barren trees of time,
And frozen dust of space.

Seeing that path,
Feeling its ridges dig into your toes,
And the pull, like an anvil
In the pit of your stomach,
Trying to tip you over the edge.

Making eye contact with
Your maker and theirs,
Feeling the icy chill of finality,
And call of the sirens
In your tired spine.
Knowing that you control
Whether to take the first step.
Poetry helps control
The chaos in my head
But beware,
It isn’t easy to tame these voices
With glistening lips like stars.
beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware beware
Don’t say I didn’t warned you.
The burden of rapture
all swollen in sadness
is love that’s a fever
that descends into madness
Yet, this perfect poison
is gladly taken
like a classic martini
Stirred but not shaken
There's soon to come a day where this
And all else cease to exist
Where every line and stich in time
Will make its way into the light

All the saints that have been called
From daily battles they have fought
To rightly claim their reward
Eternity with their Sweet Lord

Without its sting, death lost its curse
Where first is last and last is first
Every plan once made by man
Will reach its final bitter end

Every tear that ever wept
All dried eyed in a flash
A promise made a promise kept
On the day the Lord comes back

And on that day, all this you see
Including sin, will cease to be
When every line and stich in time
Makes its way into the glorious light
Searching the world for God
in a man,

as man in the sun
is

Like the gentle rain over your field

waking you up after
the long and lonely jorney,

where my roots
are, there was my tree
planted in the sun,

blooming and fruitful, dreaming

a life of a man in love
as lived for a woman so grew
as a branch that dream
a new, on the tree, into one.
Let us leave
Our hearts behind,
Forget the days
And the sky - spread wide,
Let us rejoice
Among the stars,
Crowding the moon,
Chasing the sun - tonight,
Let us be
But just bones - tonight,
Armour - where our souls reside,
Let us be
But just a dance,
Eternal - tonight.
