The war rages on,
Lead by an Angel and a Demon,
The battle for his soul,
No option of freedom.

They scream and shout,
Smash each other's skulls in,
Spill each other's blood,
But neither of them will win.

Angels and Demons,
Make his heart their battlefield,
They chop off each others limbs,
With the swords that they weald.

People think Demons are worse,
But Angels are just as bad,
At least Demons know what they want,
Angels are just mad.

Demons want him to suffer,
In depression and despair,
He thought he could rely on the Angels,
But they simply do not care.

Yea sure they fight back,
But not with their hearts,
They're just taking advantage of this boy,
Until the apocalypse starts.

He walks through school hallways,
Everyone is oblivious,
To the war inside his heart,
Why him? This is ridiculous.

They use his life as fuel,
And he realised he can't mend it,
So to cut off they're fuel supply,
He decides to **end it.
For when you have very mixed emotions and they seem to conflict each other and upset you.

The world through her eyes
Was full of objects, events
Half of which she'd never care about
And the other half
Would never care about her.

The world through her eyes was
Monochrome, black and white.
Everyday the same painful,
Torturous routine called life.

The world through her eyes
Was colourful, too.
Filled with a rainbow of personalities and characters
She would never become.

The world through her emerald green eyes.

Everything was beautiful, fascinating,
Other than herself.

Subtle.

I haven't known her for a really long time,
But I can already tell:
She likes the subtle things.
The things that people don't usually acknowledge.
The smile, the laugh,
The kisses and the hugs.
I can just tell...

She has bright blonde hair that matches her personality.
She wears clothes that reflect her soul; relaxed.
And she has a laugh that is powered by her heart; it's amazing.

You see,
I can write about how the sunset is so beautiful with all of the colors mixing together like a fresh oil painting.
But I'd rather talk about her.
Because honestly, she takes my breath away.
I don't have to say much, I just have to look into her eyes,
And I know that things will be okay.
They just have to be...

Again, I haven't known her for a really long time.
But I can tell she likes the subtle things.

Today was cold and damp,
but it hasn't rained in weeks.
I attended a funeral today,
          but no one died.
I saw my reflection today,
but it didn't look like me.
I saw the sky!
          but it wasn't blue.
I fell in love once,
          but it wasn't true.

                    I was alive today,
                          but no one knew.
I wrote this January of last year (2013)
I was going through a rough time and was away from home for a while.
Finding this really got me thinking.
So I figured I would share. Enjoy.

No such thing as darkness, just the absence of light.
No such thing as cold, just the absence of heat.
No such thing as hate, just the absence of *love.
Trying to explain hate with science

Tick
Tick
Tick
Tick*
Boom

One day I'll have nothing,
To spend my time on.
Because I'll explode,
Like a ticking time bomb.

To the left was my mother
To the right was my father
Both turning as blue as the ice that lay beneath me
My vision goes black
When it comes back I see the white of my breath traveling above my nose
They were gone
Dust from ******* caught my lungs
My cough echoed into the dusk of winter
I pulled at my curls as I usually did
Little golden locks follow my white knuckles until they start to fall out
I had no idea what to do
Men in suits passed me as if I wasn't even there
I cried and cried for help but they didn't seem phased by my tears
I kissed mother and father goodbye on their pink frozen cheeks
The man yelling orders stood far away
I climbed over mountains of broken brick to reach the man in the uniform
Running right into the ironed crease of his khakis
I felt nothing
So I opened my squinted green eyes to see I had passed right through him
My family destroyed in the streets made it to the kingdom in the sky
& I was stuck in the middle yelling at men that couldn't even hear me cry
