Sweetie I wish to write you a letter
But finding words I haven't said..
Well I could always call you my anchor,
Though that might get erased once I proof read.
I think if our lips pressed together..
Not necessarily in a romantic way,
We wouldn't need to speak forever.
Goodness your smile can make my day.

If I am salt
In your wounds, I burn
In your mouth, I leave distaste
In your glory, I am the particle swept away
In your ocean, I am the invisible lost one
In your life, I am salt
If I am salt
Then what good am I?
In your burns, I bring cleansing
In your wounds, I bring healing
In your distaste, I bring flavor
In your glory, I stand aside smiling
In your ocean, I bring life
If I am salt
we talked about
multiple personality disorder
and how people
change into other versions of people
and I thought that maybe
for a couple of hours,
for a vacation of sorts,
you could become a segmented part of me.
and I would come to you
when I became utterly sick
of myself
and needed to forget
and you would start a whole new me
someone that I knew nothing about,
a naive stranger,
whose only background,
only indication of any past
was you.
Her hair on her *******;
soft freckles are constellations
hanging in the sky
don't take my hand and spin me around.
don't look at me with piercing eyes and tell me you think i'm beautiful.
don't sneak little kisses here and there.
don't make me feel wanted
Because I know that it means nothing.
