You smell of what you smoke,
I breathe you in deeply
enough it makes me float.

His head in exhaled clouds;
slipped into reverie of me;
ensnared and spellbound.

Puffed into a trance;
vaporized reality;
my face caressed by his hands.

Baby let me course through you
like your almond tobacco
--sensation you never knew.

She was a celestial being.
Her ethereal form,
illuminating
the darkest of oceans.
Amidst the stars,
and the nightly gloom,
she remains the brightest
'Till the sun looms.

I missed him not in raindrops,
But in roaring tidal waves.
We were wild.

I missed him not in breezes,
But in dizzy hurricanes.
We were crazy.

I missed him not in a bouquet,
But in a maze of flower gardens.
We were lost.

I missed him not in a cloud,
But in the heavens above.
We were ethereal.

I missed him not in a rain puddle,
But in the lakes and seas.
We were deep.

I missed him not in the new world,
But in historical lands.
And up to this day, it's still the same,
We are classic.
To Karen: the first hansol poem I've ever written goes to you. Protect him, he's a classic keeper.

Wrap me in your arms,
tell me you're here to stay.
Let me feel your warmth,
as our fingers stray.
Let our lips touch,
smile as they part,
and meet once more.

Your lies were dipped in bittersweet chocolate;
with a heaping amount of caramel sauce drizzled on top.
I gobbled up more than I care to openly admit;
in fear of what others will think and say.
After enjoying your momentary treats;
came the truth;
with so much salt, it was baffling to eat.

The lies I ate, but
the truth I couldn’t take.

I fear what I feel.
This is like experiencing
Sheer bliss in drowning.
This is like jumping towards
An ominous dark pit
And obliviously finding
Thrill in the free fall.
How can I possibly give in
to an imminent disaster
cloaked by your smile.
Stop convincing me
you're worth the risk and the pain.
Your love's sensation lasts
until it starts to burn.
