The dis-ease of perception, these conflicting, constricting and co-existing versions of me. But I reserve the right to burn them all to the ground, and rise from the ash.

The first four letters spell out what needs to echo loudly and clearly
Bull which is what these people are filled with
That said stay clear and get on with it
They have no clue or self edit mechanism
For sensitive souls ,they are not worth the air they breathe

Rest assured in the knowledge you are

So, do it. Decide.
                Is this the life
                you want to live?
                Is this the person
                you want to love?
Is this the best you can be?
                Can you be stronger?
                Kinder? More Compassionate?
                Decide
                Breathe in.
                Breathe out
                and decide.

What is this malaise,
that awakens with each yawning day.
Quite the tortured mystery,
to have a mind that seems intent on being rid of me.
Staring at shapes of shadows,
creating fables with a brain that’s addled
With a nameless affliction.
Kingdoms have lived and died,
with only I baring witness to their fall and rise.
Scattered noon sunlight sneaks,
between dusty blinds and sets aflame the world on my walls.
It is here that I feel,
screams of terror and the joys of triumph.
The delicacy of a daydream.
A place for me.

soundless trees
unkempt breeze
the world sits still
entropy at a freeze
until
the call
the spark
the beat of the wing
brings life to the stars
and makes everything

beautiful <3
the koa butterfly - one of only two butterfly species native to Hawaii - with deep blue wings reminiscent of the vastness of space - and the opportunity for spontaneity :)

Isn’t the moon dark too,
most of the time?

And doesn’t the white page
seem unfinished

without the dark stain
of alphabets?

When God demanded light,
he didn’t banish darkness.

Instead he invented
ebony and crows

and that small mole
on your left cheekbone.

Or did you mean to ask
“Why are you sad so often?”

Ask the moon
Ask what is has witnessed.

All the poison micro-dosed
In the form of your affection,
Thoughts of your laughter
Circulating in my veins
Relieved now I can gladly state
All of it, has finally left
My spirit and flesh

when i crashed
into the forest floor
the canopy stretched high above me
i lit a match
i've been here before
but i can't tell reality from dream
some time has past
the earth grows quiet
i see your face ingrained in every tree
the ember burns
down to my callus
i want to watch it swallow you and me
why do i turn
my mind to fire
to mend my broken bones and restless brain
i want to burn
i want to blister
feel everything, and never feel again

instead i watch
the flame extinguish
surrender to the darkness with a prayer

instead i watch
the flame extinguish
the smell of sulfur permeates the air
