Do not, I beg, force me to choose
Not when I have so much to lose
I will gladly simply obey
Tell me to leave, tell me to stay
But please do not make me decide
We’re way beyond mere paltry pride

I need you to give a command
I’ll comply with any demand
But do not so cruelly require
Of me that I somehow desire
This great, austere, forbidding cross
Do not ask me to want the loss

But oh! How far are we from love
How awful! Forgive me, my dove
Heed now, dear heart, my broken voice
Desire, it will follow the choice
Comfort cannot come before it
I choose the cross, beg, implore it

she says
that he is her drug of choice
and i agree

he is a dangerous
illegal
life ruining drug

he gives her the high
and when she comes down from it
she falls so hard
and he withdraws himself
messes with her brain
ruins her mental state

but she's addicted to him
so even though
he beats her up
on the outside and in
she will
again
again
again
come crawling back to him
until she won't have anything to offer him, and he'll throw her away just like he did everyone else

The ocean spray of salt
The everlasting sounds of waves
The sand, a locked vault
The tide, an unforgiving grave

The sun rises at the edge
The memories so celestial
I take my loyal pledge
My heart a sailing vessel

Sea shells, colorful in sound
Sea life, beautiful in sight
A dream I’ve finally found
The sunset, a hypnotizing light

The airborne seagulls calling me to sink
The surf alluring a magical peace
My endeavors start to shrink
The stars turn to be my timepiece

My freckles
Lay among the clouds
As shining stars
Shimmering as angel hearts

My hands
Caress the sand
Of the ocean floor
Far below the shore

My hair
Waltzes with the wind
As an aerial dance
A ghost at first glance

My vitality
An elemental force
Never to be extinguished
Never to be vanquished

Jealousy is Shame

Association is Lame

Deception is a Name

Burning it all as if some Flame
Not related to anyone

In the game of three;
There was no way for me

In the game of two;
I played, only to lose

There is no blame;
Just the wrong game

Now i play solo;
Like a glowing halo
