Love is a transforming plant.

you can water it just enough and give it warmth and sunshine,
so it can grow and flourish and give fruits.

you can water it too much or give it too much heat and it will suffocate.

you can water it too little and it will grow spikes.

you can give it too little sunshine and it will grow into a ****.

or you can just hate gardening and live without it.

Though storms may come let songs remain
Despite the cites firm embrace

Take photographs to pass the time
As I do wait and part the glass which separates

The scraping skies and flying wings
Both above and below the shallow sea

Let us walk beside the crashing waves
Just you and I, to smell the air and sense the breeze

That we might once again be free
This verse was burred. Deep in a place I used to write in. Amazingly...I wrote this in passing and without much thinking. Describing a few gray images of a storm and it's city. Looking back on it...it's probably one of my most favorite pieces now. (:

Quick! Call the poetic constabulary
I'm mincing words about my vocabulary
Help! I'm drowning in my thesaurus
evidence that i'm merely a brontosaurus

Listen up to my Greek chorus:
"Such silly word play should place her in poem prison
a ponderous place from which few have risen
Locked in the cell, losing her sense
consequence of writing with no poetic license"

Writing on with no reason or rhyme
just doing my poetic time
iambic meters bite me in the ****
trying to force me out of my sonnetic rut

stumbling on ideas most trite
all the pitfalls of making the choice to write
just having some fun

From purple mist your arms reach out for me.
I am a newborn in your cosmic womb.
Now we are streams of light and energy.
We watch the ancients build their mighty tombs.

When did what has no ending first begin?
A ceaseless chain of growth, collapse, rebirth.
A seed forever sown and sown again,
Will never grip its roots into the earth.

Show me the ways that I have gone astray,
And guide me with your wisdom burning bright.
When time has passed and life feels dull and grey,
Help me to find that lost and holy light.

Take care, my son, your destination nears.
Good luck explaining this one to your peers.

I saw something move
It scared me
I had shivers go down my spine
My hair stood up on end
What did I see
I saw a shadow walk past me

I felt something touch me
It scared me
I had goosebumps
Was I seeing things
Imagining
Dreaming

I felt something breath on me
It scared me
I felt sick and started to panic
I tried to scream but couldn't
I ran and ran and ran
I ran into a Ghost
A Ghost of my former self

I heard something speak to me
It scared me
It said hello
Can you help me
I saw this figure in front of me
I **** myself
No I do mean that literally
I really did **** myself
I got out of there

The Ghost scared me

As young men left their homes to fight a needless war
Mothers of those soldiers see them off for sure.
They leave and are told the war will be over soon
leaving full of happiness singing wartime tunes

Kitchener said your country needs you
But he didn't really care
he didn't have to go over the top
when gunfire was in the air.

The Young boys fight...go over the top
they know they're not coming back
As they go into no man's land
the guns go crack, crack, crack.

There's a stench of death all around
People dead on the ground
young boys who had a lot to give
Never going home
Someone needs to tell their mum’s
That their babies have gone.

The mums receive a letter telling them their boys have died
they cannot comprehend the facts
they cried, and cried, and cried.
Mothers lost sons
babies lost dads
does anyone really know why
Millions of soldiers went to war and had to ******* die

Soldiers didn't only die from gunshot wounds
They died from illness to
buried in a far away land
graves of masses grew

The soldiers fought a needless war
They say the war was the Great War
but how can war be great
with millions of innocent people
Are now known as the late.

War is pointless and achieves no end.
Politicians set the trend
But still countries want to fight
I can see no point I guess I’m right.

The Towering Inferno was burning bright In the London sky at the dead of night. Voices Ignored for raising concerns people helpless as the fire burns.

The Towering Inferno was an absolute shame, someone somewhere is definitely to blame. People scream as they burn to death Or choking on smoke taking their final breath.

The Towering Inferno was an absolute disgrace they were told they'd be safe if they stayed in their place. Children, Pensioners from different races horrified looks on terrified Faces.

The Towering Inferno was burning bright In the London sky at the dead of night Burning flesh of people alive how did people manage to survive?

The Towering inferno was burning bright in the London sky at the dead of night. The screams of people filled the air the Politicians didn't really care.

The Towering Inferno was burning bright in the London sky at the dead of night. Innocent People aware of the threat beautiful people that we will never ever forget.

The Towering Inferno was burning bright in the London sky at the dead of night. The emergency services arrive on the scene. So does Prince William And her Majesty the Queen.

The Towering Inferno was burning bright in the London sky at the dead of night. Teresa May was an arrogant old cow people don't know what the future holds now. The Towering Inferno was burning bright. now they have managed to extinguish its light.

Aishah
The past is where she
once lived.
But she has moved home
since then.

She loves every
moment;
every laugh she
feels now.

I heard she once thought,
‘You fail
to love yourself, dear.
Move home.’

So, she packed her bags.
She did.
But, left them there with
The past.

And went on to build
her dreams.
She believed and she
loved her.

It’s this that saved her
Her life

And she’s saving it

for life.
