once upon a time
the fairy maiden made time
out of starry dust and bedtime rhymes
and Santa had a long beard
and Easter eggs were left by Hares
come saturday
about July
they all had left and
all we saw were empty shells of
hoping for once again the holidays
that season
I sat in my room
wishing for Santa to come again
not for presents
I wished for the Easter Bunny
to hop on in
not for goodies
I wished for the
cheer the holidays seemed to bring
to my family the whole world.
I sat in my room all the
way until October again,
when the gargoyles went up
the pumpkins
appeared then , felt
almost good again.

Could I take what was meant to be mine, calm
Moments entwined with the thought of it could
Be clamed by my hand. sweat beads off my brow.

Twitching palms reach for the handle, chocking
On decisions that could follow. Could I let go of
This moment as it rushes forward, unfolding.

The mood was as silent, death was waiting on
The other side, could I let go and walk the opposite
Way, lose what was rightfully fraught in moments.

I could be post mortem in the actions that follow
Forward, a story untold, as I passed with a moment.
Could I provide moments that were flowed forward.

Could I take what was meant to be mine, calm moments
Entwined with the thought of it could be clamed by
My hand. It was one moment to be in my hand.

I forget the words that spelt the chains of holding,
An opportunity of single thought as words once
Again spilt forward. saved with a single thought.

This isn't for me a moment for a child to be more than
A father ever was, I was of word and conclusion would
Spell if my youngling would be more than I was not.

I pulled the curtains aside.
Laser sunset.
Clouds crimson through
Orange peel lit mists.

Some city-in-the-clouds-
Sci-fi-scenery. Phiew.
Then, my focus shifted
To the crown of the much closer

Cherry tree;
Insects swirling in dance.
One score of Tinkerbells dancing
With one miniscule Peter Pan each.

One loving one
Loving another.
I smiled into the detailed sunset.
I smiled at the whirlwind

Of insects.
I smiled out of
My own everyday
Window.

How silly is the
Poet... Feasting from eyes
To heart. Tears, trembling hands
And all. At "nothing."

She was beauty personified, but in truth
She was a wish upon a star,
Like folk lore of times before,
Buttons blue,
Straw veined,
Cloth used from plague victims before, she was
Diseased,
Afflicted,
Unclean
Of mind and body that would bind a soul
Vilified by what was sewn in before,
She played her part well, A real girl,
But the toll on a father now frail and bone,
Two sisters not of blood
And a mother not her own,
A father pasted on midnights charm,
Was it cinders or the sisters?
No one knows.

"Sisters two. What time does mothers clock chime,

And for those words in the basement mother kept,
but old houses have space in walls,
And cinders spied on all,
The letter came of a dance at princes hall.

"We three shall dance the heart of the prince,
"My daughters two,
"One will be queen and we shall rule,

Cinderella anger spent, now just vengeance,
She called upon the one who brought her life,

"Fairy godmother,
"Entombed am I to the palace,
"I must dance,

"My child birthed from my wanton words,
"I will gift you freedom,

As a wand did flourish and skin was nicked,
Blood will birth your desire as arcane words were spoke,

"Let the rats be you steads as black as night,
"Eyes redder than blood moons night,
"The pumpkins out of season but will have to do,
What of a dress my mother of magic?

As barley cloth did hide modesties touch, I have
Suffered this indignity for far to long I need to be
As I was when flesh did grant upon my touch.

"A dress from the blues of your eyes,

As whispers and smoke descended
Out of tatters did beauty radiate,
A goddess seen in all men's eyes.

"Beware the time little one,
"At midnights moon,
"The Twelve chimes shall undo this magic's words,

Upon steeds and a carriage crimson orange
She travelled though ranchers wood,
And the kingdoms castle did reach upon the clouds

"Introducing,
Are you on the list,

Cinders  looked for witnesses at what was to perspire?
And blood specks did taint the floor,
As wiped was the shard, a heel diamond
That cut like a  guillotine upon soft flesh.
In awe were those who saw her beauty,
A Princes attention taken from sisters two,

"My lady, pardon your name.

"Cinders kind sir,
"Would you like to partake in a dance,

The moments were gaining pace,
As midnight was about to grace, lips so near to touch.
Chimes counted down as Cinders ran,
A slipper did slip it fell.

"I will find you my beauty,

As steeds did squeak,
Pumpkin did fester and burst covering
Cinders now once again tattered clothes.

In the basement found tears did pour,

"Mother cinders is here filth and all,

Then the knock of authority did strike upon the door,
Unlocked,
Forgotten,
Released
Was cinders from her hell hole,
The prince did enter this home
Crystal slipper in his gentle hold.

My ladies please would you honour one with a foot,
As one did try then another,
Mother did try but size twelve was her foot.
Is there another to greet this glass as a whisper came
Though another door,
A shoe was passed through shy was she,
A farce to make the princes curiosity peek,
Mother and daughters rushed in and words did speak,
Then silence for moments,
Is in the room shard did cut upon flesh and
Mother,
Sisters,
Blood
Not of her own did spill, And into the basement limp
Bodies blooded fell.
As glass touched foot, upon the spell,
A dress did knit on her body well.

"Dear sir the shoe does fit a foot so well,

"Does your mother not to wish you farewell,

"No there just killing time in the basement,
"We said our goodbyes all is well,

Cinders now queen, but still tainted at the core,
Her festering unnoticed hidden from all and everyone,
If even a notion of thought she saw,
Then glass slipper was her weapon of choice.
Years did pass many vanished without a trace.
Then the news of Cinderella's upcoming birth,

"breath your majesty,

As new life to birth, with screams in the soundproof walls
A baby girl, of tainted cloth and rotting straw,
She had her mothers old eyes two blue buttons and cute nose,

"Fairy godmother,
"Make my child all new born as I am now,

As words of arcane gestures spoke,
Lightning graced upon ground,
Glancing others,
Flesh did cinder and smoke.
A new princess was now born,
But the prince now ending under lighting smoke,
Child and mother did rule in kind,
For now they festered in evils cloak, and the kingdom
Had an age of despair that had  never been seen or spoke.

I slept soundly that night as I
Huddled in my blanket of tightly
Knitted flesh, skin so
Soft,
Silky,
Patches
Of a hundred souls touching
My body, each a moment of death
Forever touching another, held together
With silken twine.
I lay on my torso, it is so soft, to rest a weary head,
No ribs do stick or protrude,
All taken from this form now
Delicately comforting my head,
I use not geese feathers,
But that of the
Finest,
Curly,
Hair,
So tightly held, washed to silk smoothness
As they tenderly hold my sleeping slumber.
I have moments of sorrow, as I look behind,
A head board of white,
It is cold as death, but It shows the beauty attained by
Oblivion, the passed resting as one above my head.
I maybe called a monster, but in death is sleep
For the dead now slumber with me,
I hear their souls curse me, voices
Radiating,
Screaming,
Violating
My thoughts, but this is my time,
As each I fed upon, there tortured  souls.
There anguish feeds me, and when I am
Consumed within them,
I once again rest. Comforted
By sleeping upon the dead
They touch me like no living could do,
I have another blanket to sew,
Yes it must be peeled while you still breath,
But your torso is so soft, maybe time for a **new pillow.

Creep
I remember the night I lay down my heart and soul.

Little young children they were,
full and bursting with joy.

I tucked them into bed that night,
kissed both of them goodnight after reading a bedtime story to them,
turned off the lights,
and closed the door till just a crack was open,
just the way they liked it.

Once I left,
you came in.

You flew in the open window,
no wings but flying like superman.
With you, you had little friends tagging along.
You had the stars trailing your feet,
little dancing things, like sprites they were,
able to change into everything,
tigers, dragons, fairies, monkeys,
all the while twinkling,
giggling.

I guess that's what woke up my heart and soul.
They slowly rose out of bed,
blinking away Mr. Sandman's remnants and dreams,
and welcomed you.

The stars played with them,
sprinkling glitter everywhere,
turning into everything they could imagine,
a protective lion,
a ditzy serenade,
a playful sea lion.

You watched with a smile on your face,
and pretty soon, when you offered to take them awash,
they agreed,
these young children.

You offered a hand, they took it
and flew away,
into the starless night
for all the stars were following you.

In the morning,
when I peeked into the bedrooms,
they were gone.

Gone to Neverland.

All that was left
were ruffled sheets,
cold beds,
and bits of star dust everywhere.

I smiled.
You have my heart.

Jack** and Jill ran up the hill,
To perv on miss muffin
Getting her fill,
She was getting it hard boiled
From Humpy Dumpty,
Who fell of the wall,
Yolk sprayed up her back,
Her screaming she wanted more.

Mary, Mary,
Quite Contrary...
How did you make it grow,
You played with the bells,
And my cockle shells and it did grow,
Mary, Mary,
Quite Contrary
Not much words to show,
A mouth your good at what you do,
Mary my sweet little bike I like to ride so.

Old Mother Hubbard
Liked it up the back cupboard,
From the younger gents
She knows,
She liked to **** meat till the marrow
Did flow swallowed the lot in one go,
Now empty is the bone.
Who thought a lady in years,
Had all this energy on the go...

Cradling snowy doves in your soft palms;
     fluttering wings and fluttering smiles.
Tip-toeing shorelines, wet grass on riverbanks;
     sun-kissed shoulders and Apollo's eyes.
Flushed skin in the shade of Pelion,
fig juice in your cold gold hair.

“Snow White” was her name
And dope was her game

The ring leader of seven
Which none will go to heaven

A magic mirror she kept
With an apple beside her bed

A mirror for snorting
An apple for pleasure

The ring she led
Of people so sad

“Doc” the pill mill doctor
With “Grumpy” who’s sad

“Happy” full of ecstasy
With “Sleepy” so high

“Bashful” wanting forgiveness
With “Sneezey” wanting to die

With “*****” so happy
Because he’s high all the time

As the fronts not paid
“Snow White” was mad

Bit into the apple of pleasure
and
Over dosed instead

Traveling in the last hours of darkness
Down this long and dusty road
Looking up I see the moon so full
On her journey through the night

I want to leave my earth bound life
And on her take a ride
For she is traveling westward
And would take me to your side

I continue on my lonely way
The sound of road noise in my ears
But if I could ride upon that golden orb
It would wipe away the years

To ride the road of the milky way
To your side where I belong
No radio or CD playing
Just the sound of angels songs

Is it just a dream I'm dreaming
Or could it become reality
To be with you my own sweet love
Just us, just you, just me

Remember when you were a kid
Taken into a fairy story world
As  you struggled to stay awake
While mum read of stories yet untold*

Well leave behind the daily stodge
Of true loves failed paths
Forget the self inflicted cuts
From razor blades so sharp

Open your mind to imagination
Tales of Red Riding Hood
Join Hanzel and Gretel on
Their journey through the wood

Witches, wizards, dragons
All a part of myth
Let your mind slip into unknown
From a princess receive a kiss

So leave the mundane far behind
And enter middle earth
A place of wizards elves and dwarves
And fairy fire flies do live

You know your mind is a wonderful thing
A lexicon of life
So sink now into imagination
And find a better way of life
