VS aka Jason Cole
on scheduless days of stifling heat
when orderless ranks of canines beat
up the backroad and down the street
into the wood and onto the steep

a glorious arbor among thankless trees
"forever" says the whispering breeze
never mind the never-stop bees
the nimble squirrel is playing freeze

if ever there were a guest-
a sitting stone
but never a guest in this place
my place alone

drenched inside the thicket
a thousand thorny dreams
closing in on me
clamping down on me
altogether surrounding me

as home begins its beckoning
I reason it's a reckoning
I reckon there's a reason
for everything

skyward a fleeting glimpse
of a foregone future forlorn
shatters like a shadow
that a light shines upon

like water-colored rivulets
her ringlets drop and fall,
wisteria drips and pours,
in hues of lavenders and mauve,
adds aroma to this palace,
awaits her turn to
loose her blossoms too,
to spill her paint
onto this palette
and the fresh mown grass below,
where her sister’s cherry petals
like confetti scattered;
bits of pink and white,
strewn by unseen hands;
like connecting stars,
each one random lands
upon this grassy space;
the barefeet they await,
in hush... anticipate,
as if with longing sigh,
this their preparation,
purposed hours lived;
to hear the children, sweet;
listen to their laughter,
and feel the dance of
lover’s grass-stained feet!
blossom only for this moment,
like amethysts in strands,
her chains of violet
drape the trellis,
release into the twilight
perfumes not made by man;
and slowly evening fades,
the children's calls
grow ever distant,
as one by one,
they're summoned home;
and lovers draw
each other close,
as they find
themselves alone;
immersed in silence,
amidst the fragrance,
as softly flowers
drift to sleep,
dream in vespers
whispered song,
of the coming day,
of star-kissed dew,
and the light
of early morn,
to begin it all
...anew.

one needs no further
inspiration than creation;
where her blossoms beckon,
her fragrance soothes,
her colors set us in the mood;
the cherry and wisteria blooms
in my front yard being
the perfect place to begin!
this is for good reason
my favorite time
and season here
in the pacific northwest.

The bee I did like,  buzzed around me in circles,
with a nice tune, and  tried her best to impress,
as I wasn't a flower, just bloomed and could'n't offer
nectar even if I wanted ,because I have exhausted all by now,
such devotion, I guessed is because of misplaced affection
or result of some confusion, so  I prepared
to say good bye to her.

                         but I did underestimate a  bee's frustration
she  came direct to me and stung with all her vengeance
left a thorn in flesh that spoke of unfulfilled desires in general,
But the pain I thought, I deserve though could plead
not guilty in any court. Oh! her sweet vengeance is an enigma,
let her feel good about it, leave me to  nurse my paining spot,
no more  friends with bees as the season of flowers come to a close.

A pebble to a mountain;
from waterfall to the sea;
What a beauty of nature,
we have obtained just for free.
Fragrance of flowers,
buzzing of the bees;
Glistening of snow,
mystical sight of horizon.
Our Earth,itself is a heaven;
Angels are the birds,
Brownies are the animals of sizes,
We on the earth is the real magic.
But far from our world,lies this;
No fracas, no false decoration,
Gift of God is just so different than what we have made it.
So enthusiastic, eye treat,
no *******, full of greenary.
Enthrals you, captivates you in its purity.
Wow, the nature is so natural.
You can't run away from nature. You inhale and exhale it, just try to feel it sometimes.

is strong and staunch
they exude power
in every branch

calling out
to every bird
they woo and sigh
The wind their word

a canopy
With leaf is made
they bring us coolness
in their shade

no creatures they
shun nor despise
their flowers pure
bring gifts to eyes

in spring they're colored
in summer green
in autumn russet
in flame are seen

in winter ****
their branches bare
but they don't weep
in angst despair

for in their bud
which they will send
come the spring
they flow'r again!

they can be cut
to bring them pain
but never vengeance
will in them reign

they make a home
for bird and bee
The lovely, gentle

heart of trees
