The wind blew your name across my chest
Breathing a warmth that spread like fine whiskey with tears
Your song whispered In  my head
And I still miss you
Like a kiss waiting for sweet  lips
Pieces of your presence hold me again
And I bask in your memory
That was a long time  before
Before you found your conscience and your  soul
And it never mattered I was a ******* like you
Now I've found mine
I guess I should say thanks
But I miss you more than ever
I can feel you miss me too
Soul kisses on the wind
The dark mess  was always so beautiful
My lips would burn for you
Nowhere as burning white
As this heart burning your name in my soul
My beautiful stain

Earth (Pangaea)

Pangaea heaved and shifted
beneath the fire-storm sky.
Colliding plates and spewing mountains
shook, roared and thundered
under the brutal chaos
of torrential cataclysms.

In time she yielded her ire
to millennia of pacific rains -
her severed crust
set adrift across the oceans
like gigantic earthen rafts.

Jungles sprang up and terrible lizards
came, grazed and left their bones.
Forests, grains and multifarious beasts
grew and perished in accord
with their past and future destinies.

So here we are - earthbound,
tossed from our mothers' wombs -
fated to live and breed
by the grace of miracles
far beyond our ken.

Beloved mother Gaia,
from whose dust we are raised,
nurture and sustain us
and sing us to our mortal sleep.

2. Air

Air - earth's miracle brew of
oxygen, nitrogen and all the rest
          meted out in perfect harmony.

Air - silent and still on a moonlit night -
driver of sheeted rain on window panes -
and winds that shake the trembling aspens.

Air - author of land and ocean squalls -
     bringer of that ominous pallor
          that presages a tornado's furor

Air - invisible aerial highway
for majestic eagles and turbo-jets -
         medium of rhetoric and symphonies.

Air – window to the cosmos
and our fragile life–giving broth -
          unwitting conveyer of toxic alchemy.

Keep watch my sisters and brothers:
the air we breathe is what we make it
or rather what we let it be.

3. Water

Water like a capricious deity
wanders through time and topography -
     cherished and cursed for
what it gives and what it takes away.

Gentle rains and strident gales
     sculpt rivers and streams
     through forests and plains
bound for union with the open sea.

Diurnal tides ebb and wane
at the whim of the charismatic moon.
     Ice mountains advance and retreat;
rock-strewns moraines left in their wake.

Turbulent currents
     soar over jagged cataracts,
     spraying pastel prisms
     across the misted valleys.

Beneath our all too fragile skins,
     secret sanguine rivers navigate
     our veins and arteries
     bathing organs, limbs and sensors
     with curative balm and sustenance.

Wellspring of all elements,
     fill our daily ladles
and grant us the will and empathy
to bequeath the same to our progeny.

4. Fire

Two hundred million years ago
our Paleolithic cousins
seized branches from a burning forest
and stepped into a bold new world.

By the glow of fire-lit caves,
and the scent of searing venison,
they gathered wits and tools
to craft shelters and weaponry.

Their children's children would design
forges and furnaces, factories
and build engines that run on fire.

But their anxious siblings in despair
snatched lightning from the sky
and twisted by fits of anger pride
made also muskets, missiles, bombs
and nuclear Armageddons.

Loki, god of nobler flames
open our blood-stained eyes
and show us the means
to stay our arson lust and
abide by the light of reason.

The steady rhythm
Of your existence
Beating against my chest

It's beanie season
And I can see us
Condensing with your breath

It's cold outside
And I crave your warmth
So let's lay all day in bed

I'll make you a mug
Of some chocolatey stuff
Or maybe a traditional tea

Because winter's my favourite
Time of the year
As long as you spend it with *me
It's getting chillier every day...

As the stresses of the day wear on,
My furrowed brow tucked firmly in pensive thought,
My back torn open from the malicious whips of jealous competition
Lips pursed tight,
chest groaning with slivers of painful angst
Mind racing foul
I carry my heavy load yoked firmly home
I walk through that familiar door
bright eyes burning with warm welcome seer through me
my furrows are swept away
tension easing,
I unfurl as you  rise to greet me,
Warm smiles contagiously leap on to my gaunt expression
tender lips move so gently over my  mine
softening every hash word passed through them,
My chest unclenches releasing butterflies from thier  paranoid chains
Warm arms brush away the stings of the days warfare
Relief washes through me
My armour falls away
As my soul tucks tightly into you
A whisper from my heart releases
'I'm home'.
Love you xo

If I could stoke every single flame in the
fiery blaze that is your heart
          To ashes are the
kindling that I so willingly volunteer

If I could be the strength
round the girth of your trunk
Formidable am I made to last
               year after year

If I could exist in the
     tales of your breaths
Perpetual am I etched in the
               eternity of your forever

(Scribblenaughts and swoon theories) (c)

The stars part
The comets hail our victory over the death of love
Galaxies cartwheel
The fanfares of supernovas herald our impending union
Finally after tracing each trail of ether humming your frequency,
Looking under and over every last hope
Twisting into one dimension after the next
To feel this indefinable moment of chasing so close now,
Through everlasting travels to find eacother over uncountable millenia,
Infinite universes with nothing but a burning desire to find you
Tracing the whispers left as webs  crossing the universe
Drawing the constellations marking our tribulations,
And declarations of love with glittered lines
As signs to bring you closer,
As answers to your own markings
To show you where I've been,
Where i'm going,
Like notes in the sand.
Only the lines got crossed and the countless glyphs so many
In desperation became scribblenaughts
And my desperate hope to find you an endless exercise in swoon theories;
All leading to this one true moment when I hold you in my gaze
Will you remember me for what the whole universe is now
Ablaze?

I'm here,
I'm on your frequency,
In your atmosphere
Love,
Please say you remember me?

As I make my way into her room
The machine sounding showing her vital signs
I get to see her one last time
The tears run down my face knowing her doom
She reached stage four of this ****** up world
Little time left between
Grace and peace took her place
She lay limp and gone
And all I can hear is the screaming of death

Cool morning blues
break warmer
as the sun floats gently
over the horizon.

Eyes flutter open,
the creases and cricks are
pushed out into a polite yawn...

A new day dawned,
lost hopes replaced with a new desire,
freedom whispers you can do it!

And I for once,
believe I can!

Dear Universe,

Bless the poet's and their pearls of pain,
Steel them, so they may return to write again.
Bless thier jewel encrusted crowns of thought.
that every delicate word of verse is caught.
Let them pour out their soulful words
to transfuse our bleeding hearts.
Scrolling pages to guide us
through our darkest dark.
Lighting our highest joys
and deepest passions,
May we always preserve
these sacred bastions
May the poets never truly heal or break,
nor stop thier cries;
lest their flowing rivers of verse run dry.
That we may ever bathe ourselves
in rivers of consolation and joy
sending empathy through thoughts
of comfort and care,
to knit us closer in understanding
through words
in universal prayer.
May you all ways have the will to write!

The day is grey
Saturday drowns with rain
It matches my insides
It wets the earth so I don't have to cry.

I hide under covers and believe in lies
Just to keep the sparkle persisting in my eyes
And I'm human too
But I like to solve people like puzzles
Offer free compassion for the weary
But sometimes I feel depleted
When I call out for help, no one can hear me.

Our souls have been barren for far too long
What doesn't **** you only makes you strong
So have faith my love
This is just a passing phase
I know it seems as tricky as a complicated maze
But believe me….
Our souls will be drenched in love again
I know sometimes love can get tough
And we feel like we have nowhere to go
Just surrender yourself to me and let your feelings flow
Material things don’t matter to me really…
…they never did
I only want you my love, whom I value dearly
I've not given up on us
I still hold confidence and trust
Life has put us through many hells
Now it will do what is just
Light shall dispel the dark
And we will re-discover our missing spark
Broken hearts shall meet again
The indifferent clouds shall weep again
The distant sun will shine again
Like a phoenix from the ashes….our love will rise again
