When we shall see the ransomed host ,
Oh ! what a joy unspeakable,
All nations gathered,  kindreds , tongues
With God to dwell.

In a twinkling , in a twinkling,
Glory ! Hallelujah !
We'll be raptured  , to His *****,
Shouting  'Maranatha' !
Sweet voices blend with one accord,
To worship God.

The days are fleeting , end is nigh,
A precious thought to every saint,
We've waited long for that bright morn,
And ne'er did faint.

The kingdom cometh , reign of peace,
When God is King , then blissful mirth,
The  saints with him as Kings and priests
Return to earth.

In days of yore the saints foretold,
That God would dwell with mortal men,
The earth restored , as Eden  was,
For  sons of men.

Then as the rose the deserts bloom ,
No maimed are there , no blind, no dumb,
When lamb and wolf with leopard lie,
Thy Kingdom come.

I will leave this tent for the mansion
That is built for me over there.
I will close the door..
Be welcomed evermore.
Where the Saints have gathered on the shore.
—————————-
I will praise the name of my Savior
On the day this tent is taken down.
I will praise the name of Jesus
When He calls
To take me to the room He prepared.
—————————
Do you hear the rushing in the wind
It’s the wings of angels coming near.
They are coming for me..
To carry me home.
To my savior where I shall ever be.
—————————
I hear the voice of my Savior calling
Call my name as I fly through the door.
All the Saints are there with
My Mother and my Father.
I am home now… I see His face now.
—————————
Hallelujah to my Jesus
Hallelujah to His name
Hallelujah to my Savior
Evermore.
I am home now.. I see His face now.
————————–
Praise His name for evermore
Praise His wonderful name.
Praise the name of Jesus
Evermore.
I am home now. I see His face now

My faith is in my Jesus
My anchor is in Him.
When turmoil comes my way
His power is still within.
He keeps me through the bad times
And guides me through the good.
His love is always with me
On His promise I have stood.

My hope is in my Jesus
My life is in His hand.
The hope of life eternal
On His promise I will stand.
The hope of Joy in heaven
The hope of Glory above.
The hope that fills my soul today
Is because of His great love.

My love comes from my Jesus
And fills my heart today.
His love is overflowing
I have love to give away.
His love is still within me
His love is so divine.
I kneel before my savior
Grace and mercy’s always mine.

It’s by Faith, Hope and Love
I have come to Him today.
Can’t have one without the others
There is no other way.
My faith I keep in Jesus
My hope He will secure.
His love is always with me
With all three I will endure.

The greatest of these is Love.

(Heaven and Earth)

June has gone on ahead of me
Looking down with a smile today.
She has been renewed forever
I am getting older by the day.

My body has many cracks,
Crevices and creases.
"chugging along", missing June -
For Love, it never ceases

Resting on a swaying foundation
God has been good to me
I'm "chugging along" waiting my turn
My Glorious June to see.

I've got Memories by the dozen,
Reminiscences by the score…
The day I stop remembering…
is the day I'll close this door.

My World will have ended
Heaven bound I will be.
Where June is ever waiting...
For her Stan she will see.

My World will soon end
Temporary it has been.
God is calling me home
Where Eternity will begin.

There's a time coming
Not too far
Approaching
When
You won't be considered
Or judged
For your looks
Your mental
And physical prowess
Talents, etc..

Instead...

It will be
YOUR HEART.

On a dark and frightening eve
When the clouds rolled in and the moon went black
Lay the body of an inocent man

Not a trace of fear could be seen on his blood stained face
Not a drop of his pure blood had been spilled without worth

Every sin and all wrongs were no longer our death sentence
As he had paid for our ransom with the holes in his hands and his feet

Wrapped in the clothes of the dead
Sealed in a tomb of stone
Rejoicing were the Angels in heaven
As the Son made His way home

But not for Long would he stay
For there on the third day
In the tomb of the dead
There lay no body at all

Our guilt and our shame were laid on the body of an inocent man
A man without guilt and without shame, a man who overcame death

In the silence of Your grace,
in the stillness of Your presence
and Your loudly beating heart,
I sometimes forget.

How the lost find their way
and the wounded get healed.
How the brokenhearted are mended
and the broken are made whole.

It is only by Your scarred hands,
in the small whispers of mercy and grace
and encompassed in the gentlest love
that we find our own beating hearts.

the evil has gone from here
and you can soar

Come, come
To the gathering of winners
The one the world sees as sinners

Come, come
To the meeting of the living
Who love our God yet keep on sinning

Come, come
To the love of our Lord
Who across seas and skies had soared

Come, come
To the love of our father
Who's undying grace will always go farther

Come, come
Ye sinners and saints
You beautiful, broken, and you with stains

Come, come
To the Lord Jesus Christ
For He will always win the fight

"Come, come,
Lord Jesus" we cry
One day, He will, one day, we'll fly

"Come, come"
Say the saints to the dead
"The banquet is soon, and the  prince shall be wed!"

Come, come
My Christ and my king
I want with you forever to sing

Come, come
And your chariots bring
For we shall be ready, we shall, my king.

Come, come
To the gathering of winners
Though we be victorious, we are still sinners

Come, come
Oh come to the feast
Where we shall eat plenty and hear the great priest.

The Lord Jesus
Ate with us sinners
And took off our rags and made us the winners.

So come, come
To the table of winners
Who through the world's eyes may still be sinners

But come, come
For in the eyes of Jesus
We are no sinners-as jewels He sees us.
'And he who testifies to these things says "yes, I am coming quickly" amen. Cone Lord Jesus.'

Revelation 22:20

I eagerly await your arrival, my king and great Jehovah. But until then, I shall diligently and humbly spread your word to the ends of the earth.

If we keep heaven
in our gaze,
we will find
that most days
will be less of petty
and more of praise.

If we keep heaven
in our being
then that will be
what others are seeing.

If we keep heaven
in our emotion,
then we will
find love
deep as the ocean.

If we keep heaven
in our anticipation,
then we will not
be disappointed by
the God of all creation.
(Inspired by St. Matthew 6:33)

Seek first the Kingdom of God,
and His righteousness, and all
good things shall come to you.
Too much time fretting over
the affairs of the world can
take away our peace inside.
Drifting foolishly in the stream
of the material world leads
us only set on folly to folly.
It's a constant struggle to
find the peace within when
we look for it without God.

Every leaf on every tree
grows to glorify Christ.
Through His blessed love
all the earth revolves in
a perfect circle of harmony.
Focus on the happy things
that calms the bitterly bad.
Blessings stem from what
we surrender to the Lord.

His ways can be our ways
if we abandon our pride.
Nothing else means a thing
when we lose sight of God.
He promises perfect union
with the promise of life.
With opened eyes we see
the illusions fall away.
Praise be always to the
happy lives to be ours.
Seek first the Kingdom of God,
and His righteousness, and all
good things shall come to you.

The wind still dances
The living still breathe
Despite death has come
And given reprieve

Your battle was fought
Between these two foes
Growing tired and weak
You submitted to deaths blows

Life is a soldier
Powerful and strong
But in succumbing to death
Lifes strength now is gone

It is appointed unto men
For all once to die
Though man he resist
And struggle and fight

Your battle now is over
You no more languish in pain
You won a hard fight
Now rest is your gain

My wife's best friend lost her husband just a few moments ago. He had battled cancer for a couple of years and today , he won the fight. Others may say you lost the fight you were engaged in for so long but I say "The victory is yours my friend"

Matthew 11:28
Come into me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.
