I know you won't take me back
Perhaps you can't forgive
But this is what I wish for you
For as long as you may live

I wish you every sunny day
And starry starry nights
I wish you laughter once again
I wish you love and light.

I wish you every color
In rainbow waterfalls
I wish you greatest beauty
On your mountain tall.

I wish you every syllable
Of every love song penned
I hope you find another girl
That you love again.

I mean this completely
My lost and onetime man
I'd give you everything i own
I'd give you all I AM.

I really hope you read this
You do not turn your eyes
I really did the best for you
At least I didn't lie.

Please read my poems to you
Be well my dearest heart
I will bow out gracefully
On this note I will part

You will, in time forgive me
If only for your sweet mind
For you have a heart of
Purest gold
You are just that kind.

Just remember that I love you
This I would instill
I love you with all my heart
And I always will.
All the best

betterdays
one moment away,
from oblivion.

one hopeful moment

caught between thought
and action
one moment, one heart beat

one movement,

oblivion, or hope

his choice...his moment

we wait, with breath held.

one moment, a lifetime
one moment, an eternity
....poem with regard to suicide....in this case of a young male student....
who chose hope in the end
and is now receiving appropriate care...

back and forth it goes
my mind is doing that **** again
you know, when you avoid difficult decisions but they come back to haunt you and so you lay awake in the dark listening to anything and everything to shut it off

it's unavoidable
the brain will taunt you

so you start to talk to yourself in attempt to find some sort of reason
a reason for all the struggles and all the pain,
the very same storm that sends the flooding rain
Soon enough you're drowning and at this point it's sink or swim;
barely holding your head above water you're praying to be rescued and it's then you realize life's a game

that even if you're pulled ashore
you'll be back in that **** water
and laying in the dark again.

Distant learning courses in the heart
Irrelevant actions have left us all apart

Acquisitions decaying those stray minded people
It's no longer a commonplace to feel peaceful

Simultaneous occurrences have our mind in disarray
Through our pasts they begin to replay

All these calamitous activities brought through maleficent eyes
Disintegrate what's left sending us in a fools paradise

We reap to elope from these rigorous bearings we call home
Only to find ourselves cast away into the unknown

We strive to survive in a world full of abhorrence
Being seen transparent just as worthless corpses

Those few who prevail are not left without detriment
They are forever severed a mental delinquent

Nevertheless our story lives on
In this godforsaken marathon

Vortex Surrounds
Black Smoky Veil
Hovering over Hope
Fear Factor so Insidious
Overwhelmingly
Contagious
Invasive
Blocking all Light
Defying Illumination

Will My Seed of Aspiration
Become Thwarted by a Maelstrom
Unseen Before Now
I Defer to Powers that Be
To Come Beside
Inviting inside Me
Innate Knowledge
All Strength Needed to See
This Tempestuous Storm Down

Surrounded by four walls
I sit in silence and wait
The drapes above the windows fall
Shutting out the light

My safe place
My serenity
The place where I can hide
my souls depravity

Where no one sees
or even care
How I became
or how I dare

Tempting fate
I throw a rock
Hoping my actions
would somehow shock

The light that forces
its way through the night
while I battle the conflict
and try to take flight

far... far... away
