That the intensity of our society
That shattered and splattered our history
With the blood and sorrow of our humanity
Our family
Makes me weep
Makes me speak grievously
For the evils of hiding our grief
We need to see the suffering
To begin to heal our reality

Come hither to see
What lies lie in our humanity
What dissonance
Carries us
Dissolving into confusion
Resolving all of our angers
And rage unbecoming
Misdirected
Undirected
Unperfected
Wounding strangers
As well as loved ones
Come forth and bare the brunt
Of our burning destruction
I have known ignorance’s lashes
By those unnamed *****
Who claim control of the masses
Come here to see me
Invested with all the potential of our species
With hope well met
Even when hope failed itself
I milked the moment
And beg thee to see me
With all and none of my humility
Naked

You cannot shame my desire
For it was there in your beginnings
Forming your flesh
Your parents touched
Yearned to be touched
And from their seeded success
You flew forth
Like a foaming seashell
Aphrodite sprang from their well

You cannot shame his desire
For though no seed may form new life
New love will still inspire
Male fingers fondling
Male lips caressing and expressing
The most natural of tendencies
While some shout indecency
I sigh with the beauty of love and lust
The local pride of human evolution
One ****** upon the next

You cannot shame her desire
Though soft or hard
Feminine or masculine
Butch or diva
There is no need to classify
Her desire is not a matter of wrong or right
But of desire

And for all those outside
Or somewhere in-between
These three things
Those who sit still circling
Jittery with uncertainty
Desiring or not desiring
You cannot shame them

For it is all so beautifully complicated

It was on the digital screen
That I saw the children scream
Mouths contorted
Faces distorted
In stainless steel poses
Of death and destruction

I saw flowers burnt up
Showers of shrapnel
Splitting skin
Sinking in
Deeper and deeper

Colors fading
Pictures saying
Everything in silence

Limbs desecrated
Face craters collapsing
The hopes and hearts
Of all who saw

The broken buds bursting
The ground bleeding
Gas, and red rubble

My computer became
A nightmare machine
But I could not turn off
That dreadful thing
While others
Had their dreams violated
By such horrific scenes

Don’t tell me I am crazy
Cause I know war is wrong
And the American war machine
Is to **** strong

Don’t tell me I am crazy
Cause capitalism doesn’t work
The free market isn’t free
Cause any system that celebrates greed
Will eat itself alive and take
The poor and imagined middle class with it

Don’t tell me I am crazy
Cause I know religion harms us all
Phony leaders and cloud kingdoms
Keep us from seeking the truth
Keep us from speaking the truth
Ties up our youth
Binding them in the chains of ignorance
Not the liberation
Of curiosity and information

Don’t tell me I am crazy
When the crazy one is you
Most of the world is crazy like that to
But hold on to your hat
Cause I am bringing you the truth

I’m not crazy and you don’t have to be
I’m not a prisoner and the prison confining you
That chains that keep binding you
Are easily removed in the pursuit of truth

I do not have enough reserves
To give out all the love I have to give.
To do so would drain me completely.
To truly live in this world is to see pain
To feel it deeply and know even if it is a sea
I can still see the other side
Still see the other lives
Wanting to ease everyone’s pain
Wanting to elevate everyone
To where they can be
To see their potential fulfilled
In small part because of me
Because I believe
We can all be better
To give it all would be tantamount
To suicide
I tried a couple of times
That is why I love from a distance
Safely separated from people
Because I would end up giving up
Every second I had
Every cent I made
Every ounce of energy
Until there was nothing left of me
To love humanity
The closest thing to good insanity
Just know
I love you all

Lesbians lust after women
Displaying skill that feels feminine
And sometimes a little masculine
Gay men grab for other men
******* or ******* loving cubs and bears
Straight men long to touch women
Licking and touching, straight up *******
Straight women long to touch men
Grinding and riding while they are sighing
Chemistry working its’ own sort of will
And if you wondering where this is going
I have a hand made for showing
Desire makes us ****** creatures
Sexualizing is a natural inclination
From every ****** preference
So stop condemning
If you got a problem with desire
Star educating and accepting
Instead yakking and judging

There is no place safe on earth
Not the water, air, or the dirt
The water runs with toxic waste
The air wears white cumulous
Smoke stacked poisonous plumes
As for the dirt it is far worse
The ground is scarred by cities
Cement streets wearing steel structures
Plots of death with monument sutures
Sidewalks and brainless billboards
Visual, nasal, and audio static
The only place still safe is space
But I haven’t learn to breathe there yet

The thing is
The system don’t give
Two *****
If you did it

Quotas and budgets
Require them
To prosecute
Innocent men

Looking for numbers
Not trying to solve
The problems
They got all the power
And you wonder why
I am slightly unnerved by them

Justice is just an illusion
Suits and robes
Don’t make right
All that money
That goes to them
Now you know why
I question how they decide
What to do with my life

We let their lies influence our lives
Subtle reflections in the tv screen
Glowing static telling us stupid things
Defining what is beautiful
The magazines tell us how to think
Defining what is normal and exceptional
Movies defining how we should dream
Neighbors defining how we should compete
Little whispers in the dark saying
That what we should be praying for
Is the beginning of wealth
And not the end of all wars
Is the brand new digital device
Not intelligence, compassion, and wisdom
Our vices have us locked up
In separate cells we call homes
Programmed little sacs of flesh
Sick circuit boards in a city of consumption
Spasms of flickering images
Broken billboards beating down our brain
Till the young ones learn the same lessons
And they perpetuate it with their own ****
Their subtle social cues
Their cruel attitudes
Their blatant statement
The art of exclusion
Weeding out what makes us wonderfully different
To create more carbon copies
That fade and fade
Till the carbon copies turn into blank pages

Repentance is a pittance
If paid to the church,
But seeking forgiveness
Of those you have actually wronged
Properly paying them back,
Not keeping prisons packed
With some whites but mostly blacks,
Is were wrongs are made as right
As they can be.

I have never walked in
The doors of perception
Never tasted the red apple
Never pursued mushroom truths
Bitter **** grown reality
Not a fallacy, but part of me
The psychedelic

I’ve never seen the cosmic mind
Twinkling in and out of time
Patterns perfectly fitted
To dreams and facts still hidden
Becoming the transverse
Of my outer universe
The negative space
That fills my face
Connected while separate
From everyone else
Till I walk the road of
My truest inner self

I have never drank the Ayahuasca Tea
To discover the true me with DMT
Partly because I am scared
Of what darkness lies in there
But mostly because
They are illegal and hard to find

Golden crown
Dancing gowns
Swirling dresses
Are shimmering
Orchestra makes the sound
Watch the glass ball glimmering
Angels on the plastered wall
Painted in your preference

Perfect people prancing perfectly
While the poor are starving
Ruling class
Never lasts
Ages will not remember them
Years to come
What they run from
Is the truth

Monarchy
Stupidity
Docility of the masses
Enslave the brave
Make them kiss the brasses
Big fat *****
In the military
And brainwash all of the children

Wealthy woman
Gleaming gems
Exist in popular circles
Hasn’t changed much since then
But in the end
The money made monarchy
Will get what it deserves
