“That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be. To keep their love, you keep pretending - performing. You get to love your pretence. It's true, we're locked in an image, an act - and the sad thing is, people get so used to their image, they grow attached to their masks. They love their chains. They forget all about who they really are. And if you try to remind them, they hate you for it, they feel like you're trying to steal their most precious possession!!

Dream ,
     after dream ,
          caught me dreaming

I dressed reality
     in dreams
As flesh and skin
     on bone

And my only crime
     was never beyond
          skin deep

"In silence I listened to the sounds of silence"

"I fumbled futility and it fell on a field as faultless as sin"

"Perfection was mine to make and along the way to lose"

"Anguish was the name of every moment we remember , regret his brother"

The cold snow
fell upon the memories
and whited out the pain

The hungry wolf looks out
across the frozen tundra
and forgets his pain

Dreaming of a warm
summer rain
only to go out
and **** again

Knowing inside
is trapped
the lamb
in wolf clothing

I am a guide to the labyrinth
Come & see me
in the green hotel
Rm. 32
I will be there after 9:30 p.m.

I will show you the girl of the ghetto
I will show you the burning well
I will show you strange people
haunted, beast-like, on the
verge of evolution

secret among us

Leaving the phone-booth, I was
Struck by a whiff of
the weird.
Insane old country woman
come to nag the haunts
of town
Hairy legs w/open sores.

From what swamp or under-rock
did you crawl to remind
us what we choose
to leave

We watch the tsunami of lust,
fill up up the lungs of the young.
Careless marked as hipster queen,
too blind to see the dirt
underneath their high heeled feet.

Poetic T
I clasped upon you holding ever tighter,
Seizing the moment of heightened affection.
We enveloped ourselves in this instant
Caressing our hearts with this *embrace.
Who is this scraggy scruffy person
This woe begone urchin of words
This so called writer of poetry
Who cannot write for pregnant toffee
Who always thought of riches in pocket
But now has to eat those wastely words
No good will ever become of this work
Let penaltypitstop ride her nonsense

Who is this , I'm it penaltypitstop
Well I may indeed very well truthfully say
It is me !
Miserable oh yes

There's marks on her body.
The cuts on her wrists,
The bruises on her legs,
The bags under her eyes.

These marks you see, she makes.
The cuts she does,
is to feel something.
The bruises she makes,
because she feels ugly.
The bags under her eyes,
because she can't sleep.

These marks you see,
she makes.
To feel pain,
to feel prettier,
to not rest.

Until her body is a goner.
These marks you see,
she makes.

As I drive along the ocean side,
I think of how it used to be,
Of just you and me.

Life seemed much simpler than,
The sky was blue, and not a cloud in the sky,
Along the ocean side.

But now the blue skies have turned gray,
And the clouds above, are pouring rain.
Things are changed, by the ocean side.

When will the sun come back?
When will the rain stop?
When will you be here again?

With me, along the ocean side.
