Fast Forward

Fast forward because life moves on
We turn the page and our chapters born
The winds of change have finally come
Like a cleansing rain or the morning sun

Fast forward because life moves on
We share our hearts and love once more
Old memories fade and new love lasts
We look forward and never back

Fast forward because life moves on
The heart now healed and scars are gone
The future in focus we see the light
A path now taken to a bright new life

Fast forward because life,
Well because life moves on
Fast forward

will
you take
me into your
space...•cradle
me upon       the
sultry limbs      of
your        nebulous
grace•the expansive
arms of the universe,
where            peaceful
slumber awaits•your
poetry    laden comets,
bore      abundant love,
all towed     in freights•
gingerly drinking in the depth
of your face•seemingly blindfolded,
i'll tread each dark  crater•my head in
a swirl        of your  majestic         trace•
where        I would stumble         upon
V              a love ever so...             V

A piece of you
Reflecting back
The bitter words in your mouth
Too raw to speak
A poet is
Someone in pain
And someone in love
Someone who looks at the world
Through a kaleidoscope
Who takes a magnifying glass to each
And every
Word you say
And lets them imprint on their heart
A poet is
A star gazer
A dreamer
A chaser of
The improbable
But hopes anyway
A poet is
Tissue paper skin
A heart of glass
And a soul of titanium

A poet is
A sharp tongue
And a gentle kiss
She is a sob
He is a sigh
A poet is
The sun at midnight
Bright and
Burning
Hot
Alive
But cloaked in a darkness
They cannot shake
The brightest day
And the darkest night
A poet is
The human experience
A paradox
An oxymoron
So complicatedly
Simple

A poet is
A lover
Who refuses
To stop wearing their heart on their sleeve
No matter how much it bleeds
But rolls them up
So you can’t see
The blood stains

A poet
Is Poetry

I hid my feelings inside a book

Reason for this would be because an epiphany took,
see I'm one for cheesy smirks and all the perks of socializing with people of my age. But it just seems like a dumbing down of me because no one in my generation reads if it's not about gossip or vampire teens. While I'm stuck between the borderline of reality and books. Literature has surely become dominant and is the addiction at foot. But still the issue being that my peers would rather throw their life away in an intoxicated haze especially with little to no education is what makes me sick. Guys after ***, girls flashing their **** and all for publicity. Infamy which has very little time in the limelight before it becomes a bore. Drugs are what they crave, *** is what they're all searching for, and I say this with great abhor.

I hid my feelings inside a book,
Reason for this is because an epiphany took.
No one in my generation reads but this rant is something I wish they'll heed.
it's a rant ******* you critics

I let the sun and the moon rebirth me
And woke up in a forest
Naked and alone
Walking,
through the pillars of trees holding up the star speckled ceiling,
I knew
It was gone
It was all gone
The world that once inhabited this planet had vanished and disappeared

I crave you like a cigarette and I just as equally want to burn you.
Smoking is an addiction of poison that will waste you away and acid drenched flowers will grow from your ribcage. But I assure you, I'd rather turn my lungs to ash than ever be kissed by the putrid lips of love.
