At times
I long for a world that is black and white

Crimson sunsets would no longer make me believe that love is anything but painful

and the oceans would stop summoning for me to come home with their sapphire tides

I could be content with where I reside, for all colors would be the same
and your eyes would stop calling my name

and perhaps, it's because a world filled with grey

is merely and unapologetically mundane.

I have wasted my life away.
While you looked the other way.
I sat alone and cried, man it was rough.
You made me feel like ****, I wasn't good enough.
I eventually gave up on a happy life.
Screaming for you, while holding a knife.

Because when you lose your drive...
It's hard to stay alive.

This stitch in time
Will one day only be a memory
Eventually to be lost
To forever's eternity

The pain and sadness
Happiness and bliss
Fades away and dies
Forgotten to time's abyss

Make the moments count
Even if they will fade away
You may not get a second chance
You may not live to live another day

When people come to truths
they dont want to deal with,
they close their eyes.
Hoping that the darkness
will cover and hide everything.

It isn't easy. It isn't worth it.
It is painful.

And hope is a torture sometimes.
And though they are pretending
they are okay,
reality is they are dead inside
when they are smiling.

And with every pain they feel,
they realize they are alive
and then they choose to die inside
over and over again.

I fall more in love with you every day
          You can trust me when I say
