There is a big difference
Between leaving behind cold tracks
In the snow
And lending a warm hand to lead.
Don't just be a footprint in someone's life when you have the power to be so much more.

By your ***.

In moonlight your
Rhythms upset and
Entice in
Equal measure.

Mysterious goddess
Of earth
Of soul
Of soil

What to do with
Such fabulous
Witching power?

Where did the moon go
Maybe hidden by the clouds
Now I'm left waiting

The Ripper
These lungs have sighed
   they have gasped
these lungs have yelled
    they have failed
These lungs breath
once more
     for another round
of life
      to be snatched
in the end
       again && again
vvith no end
       to be relished

The butterflies dance
Brilliant colors of rainbows
Rippling Like naked water
At the peak of midnight
sequined eyes peek
wide awake,
soaking up the leak of light
pouring from darkness.

I am drunk and high
as a kite stuck in a tree
a red ballon touching palms
with the clouds;
Ive done too many shots of moonshine,
drank way too many stars.

I am lit.
Extremely intoxicated.
The houseparty upstairs is live.
I can hear it through the wall
and like a pendulum I two step,
solo dancing to the music,
the rhythm of crickets;
intrusive thoughts in my head.

Welcome to insomnia,
the club that never closes,
the city that never sleeps.
Where the mind just keeps
wandering into wonderment,
drunk on belief,
****** on a dream.
Wrote this last night after several nights of dealing with insomnia on account of some new medication.
